The worst travel experience in my life! Avoid this property!
I booked Villa Konstantinos via Booking.com (I have used Booking since 2013) for 5 nights from the 8th August 2023 to 13th August 2023. We are a family - 2 adults and 1 child (age 7). When we arrived at the property, we found the room to be dirty (especially the toilet, which I cleaned it so that my child can use it, and even after a wet wipes cleaning, the toilet remained noticeably dirty). Also, the bed which was planned for out daughter was way too short for a child of her age. Her legs were hanging out of it. To me and my family this is unacceptable. Dirty toilet and short beds should not be acceptable to anyone.
We decided that we can not stay there, we found another property and when we were leaving Villa Konstantinos we told the owner (she told me she is the owner and later when we chatted via booking she denied she was the owner, so I am not sure…) Despina, that the room is dirty, we showed to her and to her brother where it was dirty (remember I have already cleaned much of it) and then she agreed that it is dirty and she said her-self that she has 3 kids and would not accept for them to stay in a dirty room. She thanked me that we brought this to her attention, as she said she is paying the cleaner a lot of money and should be cleaned. She and her brother (who by the way was telling her the whole time she should give back the money) begged me not to write a bad review. Then she asked me to cancel the reservation, because as she said then Booking.com will ask her and she will confirm that the room was dirty and that way I would receive 50% from the booking fee. I trusted her, I canceled the booking and I said my goodbyes politely. Cancelation means no review!
I requested a refund from booking and they said No, no refund is applicable.
Then, I wrote to the property asking how will my money be returned. Then, Despina pretended that she is not the owner, in a terrible English she said that “the big boss said no money back” as there was no free cancelation with the booking and I should have known this when I booked. She said that I “played theater that is dirty”, when in fact she agreed with me while we were still in the room that it is dirty; while still at the property she was also saying that she noticed that the bed top (the wooden part over the bed) is not clean either (I have not noticed that) and how mad she is at the cleaning service.
Then, after couple of exchanged messages, that judging by what she was responding, she did not even understand, she said that she does not care about me, she does not care if I write bad review anywhere, as at Booking.com she had a good score, and she will call the police and then I “will return to my county” if I write to her one more time. Unbelievable right?! :D
Avoid this place, as you can see you will not get what you paid for and you will face dishonesty.
I am also very disappointed in Booking.com as well, as I was not aware that they do not care one bit for cases like this (It is not acceptable to pay for dirty rooms and unsuitable beds even if there is no free cancelation). I would expect them to have more involved approach and not let just anyone sell at their site. This was probably the last time I used Booking.com services.

Relaxed family vacation
Fairly new accommodation, with friendly owners, no elevator, in a quiet location relatively far from the beach. However, with the car in two minutes you are at the outer beaches which are quieter
