We loved it...

Nice hotel. Our room was dark because of the trees. And seagulls... in the morning. The sea isn't far, but it's not close.

Holidays in Paralia Katerinis, Phaedra Hotel

We spent a full 6 days in this hotel, another one was paid for, but we were already checking out. The hotel itself is quite nice and cozy, the owners are friendly, the rooms are nice, clean, everyone has a mini balcony. The location is convenient, close to the sea, close to the Lidl (wholesale) store.
BUT! The breakfasts were very so-so. Yes, you can eat, but it was difficult for us to eat absolutely the same thing (sandwiches and some kind of mealy omelet) for 6 days. In my opinion, it was possible to cook at least oatmeal, pancakes some day or casserole... And not the same thing every day.
As for dinners, which we were told is a must! paying is the same, you can eat, but it’s not very tasty. No salt, no spices, pathetic, only 1 option. If you're a vegan or don't eat something, you'll probably end up without dinner. Therefore, I see no point in paying for this. There are many restaurants in the area where you can have a delicious lunch and dinner.
Thus, the hotel is inexpensive and quite good, but I did not like the food.
P.S. There was nothing rotten, there were 2 types of fruit every day, but they were quickly sorted out if there might not be enough at the end. And there was coffee, but it seemed to be mixed with chicory.

PERFECT

Amazing hotel. The host family were attentive, but not intrusive, it seems that they love their work and clients so much that I cannot explain how they do it. Ideal location almost in the center - 5 minutes from the sea, close to 2 supermarkets and many cafes, all within walking distance! Spacious rooms with fresh renovation in a classic style, have everything you need: air conditioning, kettle, hairdryer, kitchenette with dishes and refrigerator, and even an electric mosquito fumigator. Cleaning is daily. Varied breakfasts and dinners. It is not clear why the hotel only has 3 stars. Perfect stay!

September 2023. Holidays in Paralia turned out to be even better than in Liptokaria..
The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the sea and the second from the roadway. 2/3 of the rooms open onto courtyards, wide balconies and the elevator works without problems, the water is always hot.
The kitchen made a special impression - the hostess baked and stewed dinners herself... and the sweet pies were also her work... all the staff knew English... and they solved all problems immediately after the request (problems with the safe). Cleaning is regular and for 7 days, towels were changed every day and even bed linen was changed. The holiday was a success.. I will come again..
