Shocking view
Excellent accommodation, overlooking the glossy green waters of the Aegean.
Cleaning every day, room spacious, Ioanna polite and volunteered to help us in everything.
On our next visit to Alonissos, of course we will prefer the blue bay again

Amazing view
Lovely quirky apartment with amazing views over the port.
Friendly & helpful host.
Lots of kitchen utensils available (not that we used many as there are some lovely restaurants nearby!)
There was a recurrent noise that sounded like a water pump that we were able to ignore once used to it & it would have been good to have a hairdryer.
If I returned to the island I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic service, great value and effective support for guests
In a nutshell, the room is excellent and the service is really outstanding: I could not be more pleased with my experience.
The room is in tip-top shape and very clean every day; the bathroom is spacious and in perfect condition; the wi-fi always works very well; the view on the harbour is gorgeous; the location is ideal in the centre of Patitiri and you can go everywhere just by a five-minute walk (including ferries, buses for the Chora and Steni Vala and taxis). Price is reasonable: I paid 50 euros per night at the end of June 2023 and in my opinion there is really much value for money.
On top of that, the owner Ms. Ioanna has been extremely supportive: she has kept my deposit for 3 years (I had to give up travelling to Alonissos in 2020 because of Covid, and was finally able to go to the island in 2023) and gave me back the price of the last night when I suddenly found out that Aegean Flying Dolphins had changed the time of the return trip I had bought (they did not send me any heads-up...), which forced me to leave one day before in order not to miss my return flight; moreover she provided me with much useful information and advice.
Kudos to the owner and the staff of Pension Galazios Kolpos!

My Second Home
I seldom go back to same country I visited the year before, let alone the same town. So for me to return to same room in the same the pension 12 months later you know it must have been good. But is it a mistake to return so soon to a place you loved? In this case no. In fact the room was even better now with a new kitchen and a brand new fridge. There was good selection of glasses including proper wine glasses and small Ouzo glasses. Otherwise it was just as I had remembered and had looked forward to all year. Even the boat moored in the harbour that was the backdrop to so many of my 'meal on the balcony' photos was the same. And the welcome was even warmer. No Pension Galazios Kolpos sign needed this time as Ioanna greeting me at the harbour like a long lost relative. On my last day she even brought me a feta pie cooked by her mother. There is certain assurance you get when you arrive at a place and the wifi on your phone connects automatically because it remembers you have been there before. I dare say I will remember this place much longer than my iPhone.
The Practical Things: Small private balcony with table and two chairs, sun umbrella and clothes line. Small kitchen with full sized (brand new) fridge and grill with hot points. Coffee maker and other appliances available. Plenty of good quality plates and glasses. Ask if you need more cutlery though there was a cork screw. Two single beds with mosquito netting (there was only the occasional one around in September). A couch and good sized wardrobe. Small TV but only local greek stations. Average sized bathroom and small shower. Wifi ok for Skype calls. Just a few minutes walk down to the harbour.

Didn't want to leave
We stayed for a week at the beginning of July before moving to a bigger hotel on another island - and we all wished we'd stayed with Joanna longer! The apartment gave the 3 of us plenty of space, the bathroom was bigger than we had anticipated and the aircon and wifi better than we got on Skiathos! I've already passed on the details to friends of ours (although I hope they don't want to go back when we do) and that's the best recommendation I can make. Joanna was the perfect host, the views are amazing, the location couldn't be better, and the lazy walk down to the harbor didn't require a herculean effort to go back again.
