Absolutely perfect stay – beautiful, relaxing and unforgettable!
We had the most wonderful stay; myself, my four children and two of their partners. The suites were spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully comfortable, with breathtaking views that made it so easy to completely switch off and relax.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious and delivered to our suite every morning, so we could all eat together on the terrace. We loved getting to taste traditional Cretan foods, and there was always plenty of it!
The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to Valia, who was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. After our super early flight, she kindly arranged for our suites to be ready much earlier than the stated check-in time, which was such a thoughtful touch. She also made arranging a late checkout incredibly easy, making our final day completely stress-free.
The pool was amazing; peaceful, quiet and so relaxing. Most days we practically had it to ourselves, which made it feel like our own private little escape.
The location couldn’t be better. Just metres from picturesque beaches, with shops and tavernas all within easy reach. Everything felt so chilled and relaxed, exactly what you want from a holiday.
A beautiful place, wonderful people, incredible food and the most amazing views. It was the perfect place for our family to spend time together, while still having plenty of space to relax and enjoy our own time.
We left feeling completely relaxed and already wishing we could go back.

We had a wonderful 4 nights at Belvedere apartments in early September. Everything about the place is high quality and extremely professional. The staff are so friendly and the rooms beautiful and clean. We loved that you could choose your pillow from a range of options - such a clever idea. The breakfast was astonishingly good. All these elements combined to make Belvedere the best holiday accommodation I have ever stayed in. Thank you 😊

Cute place in small town Plakias
Cute little hotel in the small town Plakias, walking distance to some excellent restaurants and supermarket.
The absolutely best part was good breakfast and clean, calm environment.
We were slightly disappointed that unlike advertised on the webpage - pool was not heated but water was very cold. In May it can be a challenge with small kids.
Also we got cute beach bag from hotel. When checking out, personnel insisted it back even though it was full of our items. They gave us pienty of small plastic bags where we stuffed our items.
I think this was kind of anti climax for the nice stay - please inform when giving out these bags, that you actually want them back.

Regarding the pool, we would like to clarify that our outdoor pool is indeed heated to 25°C throughout the year. For guests seeking a warmer option, we also offer our jacuzzi heated to 38°C, available daily and free of charge for up to 30 minutes per room. We are sorry if this was not communicated clearly during your stay.
As for the beach bags, we completely understand how the situation at check-out may have felt inconvenient. The bags are provided, along with beach towels, purely for our guests’ use during their stay but are not intended as complimentary items. We will make sure to inform future guests more clearly at check-in to avoid any misunderstandings.

Highly recommend
We stayed in July at the Belvedere apartments in Plakias , Crete , I was compelled to write a review because of the amazing standard of service we received.
From the moment we arrived the level of service was excellent.
Impeccably clean rooms and the attention to detail was outstanding.
The receptionist Elda has to be one of the happiest people we have ever encountered and nothing was too much trouble.
The breakfast service by Evginia in our room each day was beautifully served and the choice was endless.
Compliments to the chef for the daily salads and sweet treats that appeared.
We would highly recommended the Belvedere as probably one of the friendliest and most professional hotel apartments we have ever stayed in.
Great location for the beach and restaurants.
We hope to return Belvedere Apartments again next year.
