On the sea...
The location, almost on the sea in the small settlement of Platanias, made us choose it for an excursion to South Pelion! Friendly owner and staff, cleanliness everywhere, excellent quality-price ratio (at least the time we went), renovated room with beautiful decoration, view and good breakfast in the cute cafe next to the sea made the difference with other nearby accommodation...
Nice beach Platania at 200m. from the hotel, even more nice beach Mikro after a pleasant 15' hiking on a green path with a fantastic view!
THE NEGATIVE CAPS:
The bathroom is small and you shower almost above the toilet basin, there is no room for a regular shower... Small and the wardrobe (monophile embedded), but we did not stay for many days and we did not have many things fortunately! The kitchen is large and if it is renovated and there is even a kettle for coffee/tea, it will be more functional!
The breakfast pleasantly surprised us (for the room price), had freshly prepared dishes (lucomades, eggs, cheese pie, pizza), but needed better juice (she had a sweet orange) and more variety in tea, also when she had enough salty dishes she did not have enough sweet and vice versa. Olives, tomatoes, canopy and feta should have been there every day (we only managed one day)! I guess if someone asks for one of these, they will bring them (as they make up for what ends, especially if asked)...
