Really delightful surprise , a home from home

like stepping back in time, but in a good way. a very warm welcome from Nikos , and all were friendly and very helpful, especially when i locked myself out after 11pm!
nothing was too much trouble, and the relaxed attitude helped me to relax.
As a solo traveller, I felt safe in this area and on this island and in Greece altogether. maybe its my age :)
Anyway, ideal for those who love seaswimming and natural habitats. it really is too lovely to share with too many people.

Dirty things, spiders, cockroaches. Worse of all, with the diligence of finding towels and sheets, pillows that smell mold and much more that I would write for hours.

Unbelievable!!
We closed here and took us elsewhere...
I don't know how his rooms are, the principal led us to another "hotel"!!!
However, there is a great difficulty to park the car because it is on a pretty steep side with a large garden

Basic accomodation in Askeli

Pros: Nice view from the balcony, short walking distance to the beach, beds were ok. Cons: Smell from the drain in the kitchen, rusty hot plates, shower basin peeling off, broken mosquito net. Would not recommend this apartment to family and friends.

Could not stay

We had booked a 3 night stay. When we arrived, the accommodation was not as it appeared on the website. The rooms and balcony were filthy. When we told the owner, he said that we paid for basic and if we were not happy, we could leave. He became very hostile and told us to go and find somewhere else. We could not then stay. We had booked to take our elderly parents away for a few days. We then had to look for other accommodation at a time when Poros was very busy. This was extremely stressful.
