I recommend

I spent my 30th birthday at Afroessa and
I couldn’t have booked a better place. Eddie and the other staff were so so lovely and made my stay so great. They sorted out my excursions and transfers for me to save me the hassle. The hotel was so quiet, peaceful, neat and in a great location. I recommend!

Best views imaginable

The best views on the caldera from your bedroom ! We chose hotel this for the authentic Greek feel & the views . Our room was ‘cave like ‘ which was lovely . Spotlessly clean with fridge , kettle & hairdryer . Breakfast good . Bar for drinks & reasonably priced . We had a room on same level as restaurant with an outdoor terrace so perfect . The staff ( including dear Eddie ) are lovely & will provide you with all the information you need for days out & restaurant recommendations . Be aware not ideal for those with mobility issues as lots of steps to rooms , restaurant & swimming pool . The walk to Fira takes 40 mins if you use the coastal path , a bit quicker via the main road . Buses to Oia run from Fira bus station but you can also get on one at the main road in imerovigli near the supermarket , they run every 20 mins , if you’re lucky you can get one to the same spot on the way back if not go to Fira & get one of the hourly buses to imerovigli from there . Some fabulous restaurants nearby ( all walkable ) & good little supermarket five mins walk . Loved this place , enjoy it . Thank you to all staff .

Best view on Caldera!

Nice and cosy rooms, perfectly clean. Staff is super kind and always ready to help, they will make you feel you are at home. View from the structure will leave you breathless, we will totally come back.

Wow. Take me back to the Afroessa!

It's been 2 weeks since my stay at the Afroessa and I'm still dreaming of it. As soon as I entered the gate to the property, I thought "I should have extended my stay here." It was, hands down, the best decision I made about my trip to Santorini. The property is beautiful, the caldera views are fabulous, and my stay was truly restorative-- exactly what I was hoping this vacation would be. Thank you, Eddie and the rest of the Afroessa staff.

Beautiful structure

The location, with its view is the real strength of this property, worth seven spheres.the view is a bomb, with great views of the . It only has 12 rooms. Clean, breakfast breakfast. Starting at 8:00 am with quality ingredients, it is not a buffet but is still abundant.
What does not make it assign five spheres and the fact that many details are overlooked, broken shower supports, pool bar present but unused and many other small details that a keen eye sees. The big problem is perhaps the lack of staff that manifests itself with a slow Breakfast Service or the fact of not finding anyone if you need something. The staff present is however very kind and friendly.
