Amazing Views
I highly recommend this hotel! The rooms are large, spacious, and very clean, and they include basic toiletries. Some of the rooms also have a private jacuzzi. There is a swimming pool with sun loungers, and the entire hotel offers breathtaking views, which are definitely its biggest highlight.
The location is excellent, with easy access to nearby towns and a beautiful scenic walking path nearby. Breakfast is included in the price, which is another great advantage. Overall, it's a perfect place for anyone looking for comfort, stunning views, and a relaxing stay.

Vedere fantastica la caldera si hotel super frumos !
I had a very pleasant stay at Gizzis Cliffside Suites in Santorini. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the caldera, which is one of the main reasons I would recommend this hotel. The room was impeccable, and the cleanliness was maintained to the highest standards throughout my stay.
The reception staff were very friendly and professional. I would especially like to mention the young man at the reception desk, Mrs. Olga, and the lady with glasses from the housekeeping team, who were exceptionally kind, attentive, and always willing to help.
Unfortunately, breakfast was the disappointing part of the experience. The menu was exactly the same every day, with very little variety, which became repetitive after a few days. In addition, the staff working in the kitchen and breakfast area seemed distant and unwelcoming. They rarely spoke to guests, never smiled, and did not even respond to a simple “Good morning,” which created a rather cold atmosphere.
Overall, the exceptional location, fantastic caldera views, comfortable room, and excellent cleanliness made for a very enjoyable stay. However, the breakfast experience and the attitude of the kitchen staff could be significantly improved.

Terrible Service, Poor Hygiene & A Serious Safety Failure
This hotel was one of the biggest disappointments I’ve ever experienced. We paid a premium price for the Honeymoon Suite, but the service was absolutely unacceptable.
During our entire one-week stay, our bed sheets were never changed (I even left a marker on them to make sure). Towels, bottled water, shampoo, and conditioner were rarely replenished, and we had to buy our own toiletries. Breakfast was extremely poor, with very limited options, and the staff made guests feel uncomfortable by constantly watching what and how much they were eating. We weren’t even allowed to take a piece of fruit back to our room.
The worst part happened two days before we checked out. My sister had flown all the way from the U.S. to surprise me for my birthday when a large pool umbrella, left open despite the strong wind, blew over and hit her in the head and shoulder.
We screamed for help, but no one came. We asked for ice, but nobody brought any. My niece had to get the ice herself while my sister was in pain. We were taken to the hospital, where the manager finally arrived. Instead of apologizing and taking responsibility for failing to secure the umbrellas or warn guests about the danger, he behaved rudely toward my niece while we were anxiously waiting for my sister to be examined.
For the amount of money this hotel charges, the lack of cleanliness, hospitality, and basic concern for guest safety is completely unacceptable.
The only positive thing about this hotel is the view—but you can find the same incredible view almost anywhere in Santorini. I will never stay here again, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
