Memorable Vacation Thanks to Mr. Philip
A relaxed and spotless hotel in a great location, close to the center of Perissa and just a short walk from the beach.
Mr. Philip was incredibly helpful and informative, making our trip even more special. He assisted us with renting a car and arranged a catamaran cruise for us, which turned out to be an unforgettable experience.

Avoid
The bathroom was dirty. The sink was dirty and the water wasn’t draining from the sink. The WC was dirty! Towels were dirt, the bedding was dirty. We had to go other hotel and when we told the staff that the room was dirty they said that we didn’t pay to much and they are liars and rude also. We didn’t ask for a refund, only told them that we are going to other hotel. They after cancelled our reservation as we didn’t show us at the hotel

We spent 14 nights at the Kyma Hotel/Apartments in Perissa and unfortunately cannot recommend this accommodation at all.
The trouble began as soon as we arrived: Although we had booked a room with a balcony, we did not get one. The room was very dirty, the bathroom smelled extremely of the drain and was barely bearable.
It was especially disappointing that there was no staff on site. No one could be reached by phone via several numbers. The only contact person was the incredibly friendly man from Nepal, who took care of cleaning the entire facility all by himself. I expressly do not want to blame him. He works all day alone and is obviously under enormous time pressure. The problem lies clearly with the management and not with him.
The room was dirty upon our arrival:
* Hair in the bathroom
* dead insects in the room
* soiled towels and bed linen, which also smelled unpleasant
* generally lacking cleanliness
The outdoor area didn't make a better impression either. The pool and the lounge chairs were also dirty and unkempt.
Since we were able to reach someone, but no one on-site really wanted or could help us, we finally called Expedia, through whom we had booked our package tour. There we were given the manager's phone number. Surprisingly, it was the exact same number that we had already called several times without success. Very strange.
We were subsequently shown two other rooms. However, these were smaller and also without a balcony. Since our original room was at least larger, we decided out of necessity to stay. We even bought room spray and air fresheners because we thought we could eliminate the smell in the bathroom with them. Unfortunately, the stench came directly from the drain and could not be removed at all.
According to the hotel, you should just send a WhatsApp message for room cleaning. We did that several times. Responses came only very rarely or not at all.
The statement from the person responsible for the cleaning staff was also particularly disappointing. We were essentially told that if we didn't like it, we could go somewhere else and that we should be grateful for the price. That is not how you treat guests.
What I also don't understand: This accommodation has surprisingly few reviews. During our 14 days, we saw many guests come and go. We spoke with some of them, and no one we talked to was satisfied with the rooms or the facility.
Our conclusion: The price-performance ratio is not right at all. The accommodation is poorly organized, the cleanliness is lacking, and when problems arise, no one feels responsible. The only bright spot was the friendly employee from Nepal, who did his best despite the difficult circumstances.

Rooms were big 2 floors but our aircon didn’t work which let the room down as it was very hot in July we had to leave our balcony doors open which we thankfully had
Our 2nd room didn’t have a balcony & it was like a sweat box

not good
No welcome at either check-in or check-out, we stayed for 6 days and they cleaned the room only 1 time and only because I requested it.
We had a change of plans at the beginning and having already paid the full amount, they did not refund us for the 1 night that we did not use at all since we arrived the next day.
Even though we paid extra, they did not allow us to stay a couple more hours on the last day nor even to leave our suitcases at the property.
Cute property but nonexistent staff, I would not recommend it.
