Quiet stay and yet close

Decent room with double bed and sofa (probably also works for 3 people),
small nice bathroom, fridge, kettle and hairdryer and WiFi.
Great view down to the sea from the balcony. In a quiet location north of Fira center. Hillside location and stairs, so not wheelchair accessible.

Scam !

SCAM! I was robbed by the accommodation. I was robbed by the accommodation because they charged me for my stay twice! Days later, when I got home, I checked my bank statement and that’s when I realized I had been scammed. I contacted the accommodation to ask for my money back, but they always ignored my emails! They never responded and never returned the money they stole from me! They even told Booking that they hadn’t charged me for my stay twice!! Be very careful when paying with your credit/debit card in this accommodation. ( i booked on another platform, not on trypadvisor).

Hotel located near the center of Fira
The view both from the room terrace and from the road to get there is splendid
Thanks also to the always kind and helpful staff, who took care to call a taxi to take us to the port.

Central stay

The rooms we booked had wonderful views over the island and ocean. Staff were friendly and helpful although information in the room on facilities and the area was lacking. This is definitely not a self catering facility since, other than a kettle and fridge, there is no provision for anything (not even mugs, although a few coffee sachets, a teabag and a couple of sugar sachets were provided. That said, the rooms are close to the centre of FIra and withing easy walking distance of most things, including the central bus station which we used extensively. (Would advise against using a car in Fira due to the traffic situation). The main access street is quite steep but we discovered many other routes through back alleys which make it easier to get about. Altogether a lovely stop over.

Quirky cave room in perfect location

We stayed here for one night before catching a ferry to Paros. The staff were very helpful, contacting us before our arrival to make sure they were there for check in, which was prompt and painless. Our room was a traditional cave style room but with a modern interior. The facilities were useful and new. The hotel even boasted a terrace with beautiful views of the east coast of the island. It was also 2 minutes walk from the main road and 5 from the bus station, would definitely recommend for a layover. Staff were on call 24/7 giving us their number to contact them.
