Fantastic holiday as always staying here

We have stayed at IRA Appartments many times over the years and Vangellis and his staff are always great They are always very helpful and friendly The pool is lovely and surprisingly large and we particularly like that it’s a nice and calm surrounding

LOVELY QUIET FAMILY RUN HOTEL

This is a lovely hotel with such a warm and welcoming family. Good sized pool and very safe for our girls. It is close to the airport, and you will hear some planes, and not on the flight path, so my experience was that it was quite and the occasional times I heard it, it was more preferable than being by a busy road or in the middle of town.
The walk to town is 15mins, first night this felt a lot, and we soon adjusted and though uphill on the way back, it’s not a major uphill.
Nice cafe bar by the pool, if I have any criticism, I think that a simple breakfast (Greek yogurt and honey) is the only small issue, though we walked into the bakeries in town, or used Wolk (Uber Eats).
Kamari is a nice little beach resort with lots of choices of places to eat, and not as pricey as Oia nor Fira.
The acid test is we would come back if we returned to Santorini.

Really lovely and relaxing

We stayed here in July for 5 nights. The hotel is a 10/15 min walk to the beach and the main strip in Kamari and it’s about 5 mins to the outdoor cinema.
I was there with my two sons (12 and 17) and we used to walk back between midnight and 2am most nights (the karaoke bar on the strip is so much fun) and we always felt safe.
The rooms are typical Greek style. Quite simple but spacious with aircon and a good hot shower and the beds are comfy.
The pool area is really nice and was very relaxed when we were there. You can buy drinks and snacks from the pool bar, I’d just suggest picking up your breakfast the night before from one of the supermarkets that are open until about 2am near the beach.
The owner is really helpful. I WhatsApp’d him before we arrived as we needed to go straight to the Irish bar to watch a football game and he dropped us off as soon as we’d checked in. He can also arrange a taxi to and from the airport. You can get a bus but you have to change buses and then walk 15 mins with suitcases, so I’d recommend pay for the taxi.
