Really great relaxing stay
Really very good stay here. wish we could do 4.5 stars
Andreas and Varvera (Barbara) looked after us and were kind and attentive. the hotel is nicely set out and apportioned and the room we had (top right when looking from the pool) was a great view over the sea and pool area and lead to lovely morning wake up sunrises. room was lovely and well cared for and the bathrooms in that block were updated 2023/24 so were really nicely tiled etc. although the tiles are smooth as you like so when they are wet after a shower they are super slippy!
maid service very good to tidy room every day and make beds etc and they changed sheets midway thru the 10 day stay and fresh towels as required.
food was lovely from the kitchen from their small menu (Caesar salad and Greek salad and toasties/club sandwiches were excellent but there is probably 20 things on the menu) and drinks always cold and reasonably priced and good sizes.
breakfast was a nice quaint set up with 3 cereals, cold meats and cheeses, yoghurt, honey, boiled eggs, toast, bacon, scrambled eggs, omelette, beans. coffee/tea etc
Pool area was nice (one light in the pool had come out and was floating but apart from that), sunbed no issue (unless you want shade).
the chickens and goas next field over are a nice distraction as well.
walk down to town is approx 12-15 mins downhill. you can get to 2 lovely restaurants (paspalis and Baracca) less than 10 mins and both excellent.
Kaliva restaurant was a highlight in town also with nice views.
Very nice taverna Agrapidos on the way into Poros was a highlight with quaint setting and incredible views over Poros bay.

Fantastic place - love it!
This was our third time at Zephyros and we wouldn’t hesitate to come here again. It’s a lovely hotel, and the owner (Andreas) takes great pride in it. It’s very relaxed and welcoming. Yes, it’s up a long hill, but taxis are plentiful and cheap and its position means it’s very quiet. Rooms are comfortable, the beds are very comfy and the bathrooms are very good with toiletries provided.
Andreas has made many improvements to his hotel over the years, and I have one suggestion for him. Access to the pool is by vertical ladders at either end of the pool. This is absolutely fine for the majority of people, but it would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. It would be fantastic if there was stepped access at the shallow end. That really is the only thing I can think of.
Lovely place, and I can’t wait go there again.

The best place I have ever stayed during my travels.
Without a doubt, this is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed during my travels.
The hotel is really beautiful and cosy, with gardens and a great swimming pool. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help.
Our room was super clean. It was cleaned every day, and the towels were changed daily.
The breakfasts were excellent, with a wide selection of fresh, high-quality food. There was everything l need for a tasty breakfast, and even more. On some mornings, we were treated to homemade traditional Kefalonian sweets, which was a wonderful surprise.
The hotel also has parking. Village of Skala is good place for vacation with many restaurants, shops, cafes and huge beach, so the location is excellent.
Also, the hotel offers beautiful views .
All of this makes really relaxing holiday. A special thank you to the landlord for creating such a quiet, cosy, and welcoming place.

We have had a fantastic holiday at this hotel
We can’t recommend Andreas, Marianna and Barbara enough for making our stay so great.
The grounds are beautiful the pool amazing and the views superb.

Perfect place to stay
Fabulous stay as always Andreas and his daughter Barbara are amazing hosts . Superb sea view room nicely refurbished and modern, all the facilities, you need and stunning views from the pool . They have a great choice for breakfast. Lunch and evening foods also available and lots to choose from always nicely served and great tastes . Pool area very spacious with lots of sun beds and parasols.
Highly recommend this hotel we have been back many times and it always feels like home even if we haven’t been for a wile . Thank you Andreas as always
