Very clean, beds were very hard, not sure if that’s normal in Greece. Bit of a hill to walk up and taxis reluctant to drop off as the track to the villa is full of bumps. Otherwise a fab stay. Oh and no path a lot of the walk into town.

Simply the best accessible accommodation on the island
We visited in May 2024 and had a wonderful time in Villa 3, the one-bedroom, fully accessible single storey accommodation on the complex. There are two other villas, all with separate driveways and privacy hedges and fences. All three villas have their own pools.
The driveway and patio area are all on one level and there is a small step into the villa. Maria, the lovely, friendly owner, organised a ramp to facilitate wheelchair access and once inside everything is one level.
A well equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, double oven, four-ring hob, fridge and freezer plus plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. There are two bathrooms, one is a fully accessible wetroom and the other is an en-suite with shower cabinet.
The bedroom has a large amount of storage with two bedside cabinets, a large chest of drawers and a large built-in wardrobe. There is access through a sliding door to a rear patio with small table and a couple of chairs.
The sitting room is large, with plenty of chairs, sofas and coffee table, plus soft seating which can be used as an additional bed.
The patio area is large and features a brick-built barbecue in a covered area close to the house, with dining table and chairs and a separate coffee table. The pool-side furniture is high quality and possibly the only negative from the entire stay is the dilapidated large swinging sun umbrella, which really needs replacing.
Alketa, the friendly maid, visited regularly and we had some interesting conversations. We even got used to the noise of the two peacocks who inhabit the area and who were often visitors to our garden.
We cannot recommend this property highly enough. It was the perfect hideaway to celebrate our Golden Wedding anniversary; peaceful, tranquil and special. Maria and her family are to be congratulated for the design and build of these superb properties.

Amazing week in Skiathos Island Villa 2
We stayed for a week at Skiathos Island Villa’s, in Villa 2 and cannot recommend this complex enough. As a travel agent I have very high standards and the Villa met them all! Myself and my 4 other family members had the best holiday. Maria is such a lovely host, she picked us up from the airport as arranged prior to arriving and drove us the short distance back to the Villa.
The bedrooms are spacious and we used the sofa for the 5th person which was set up as a bed when we arrived, this was very much appreciated. With 5 ladies staying in the property the 3 bathrooms were defiantly needed! The downstairs was a lovely open plan space. The outside area was beautiful and the pool was very welcoming on the hot days.
If we needed anything Maria was just a message away! We asked for another sunbed one evening, with there being 5 of us and one was brought to us the next morning! Unbelievable amazing service, nothing was too much trouble. The Villa got cleaned twice a week, fresh towels, pool towels and sheets, which was unexpected being in a Villa and was amazing we didn’t really need to clean ourselves.
The location of the Villa is perfect, a 25 minute walk max to the town and port, 5 minutes to closest bakery and 15 minutes max to the closest supermarket. Maria recommended a lovely taxi man who we used occasionally throughout our stay and was very good value we would recommend.
We took a trip to Skopelos which we all enjoyed and a day at Maratha beach which I’d recommend, book sunbeds ahead of time if you want them. We just put our towels on the sand. There was a lovely beach taverna for drinks and food. Would also recommend Bourtzi restaurant in the town.
Overall I cannot recommend Skiathos island villas enough, you will not be disappointed if you book anyone of the three villas from the complex. All are private with pools and you aren’t overlooked. The island is beautiful and we cannot wait to return!
