Hotel Galini, smješten u centru Limenasa, udaljen je samo 10 metara od plaže i luke. Nudi vrt, sunčanu terasu i sobe s balkonom s pogledom na vrt ili Egejsko more. Sve klimatizirane sobe imaju TV, hladnjak i kupaonicu s tušem.

Excellent Hotel Near The Harbour
A modern spacious room with a sea view from the large balcony.
Right downstairs are cafes restaurants shops and bars, and the beach is nearby.
A close walk to the Kalamoti ferry port or a 30 minute bus ride from the Prinos ferry port to Kavala.
Very friendly reception also, so we would
gladly stay here again.

Always a pleasure to stay at Galini
This was our 4th stay at Galini so, you can imagine, we came back because we liked it very much. First time we stayed here was 10 years ago (my wife and I weren't even married back then) and it was a funny story how we discovered this little piece of gem (but I won't enter into details here).
This year, we took our 3yo daughter with us and she had a great time.
What I like most about Galini is Anita (the owner). She's very nice, never intrusive, always wanting to help.
Second, the hotel is in the heart of the city, so you are close to the kiddie rides, playground, tavernas and, trust me, when your child wants an ice-cream at 11PM, it's good to be staying in a lively city. Yes, it's true that the beach is some 200 m away, but it's a pleasant walk and sun beds are free of charge if you order something at the bar. We chose to have lunch at the beach as it was very convenient.
Last but not least, the hotel provides a wonderful view of the sea.
I've been to many places in Greece, yet Galini is where I felt best.
Looking forward to going back next year.

Un intimate hotel
Yes, Galini hotel can be easy an intimate hotel. There are many things which lead you to that. Once you have entered you will realize that. But when get into the room, you gonna be pretty satisfaied. Everything it`s the way supposed to be. Very clean and cozy bed with white sheets. The wi-fi signal it is also very okay.
The hotel it is sittuated at the intersection of three streets, but it is not nosy what so evere. The balcony is big and it has great view, not only to the marina, but also to the streets, shops and restaurants.
One thing you should take in consider it is the beach. The distance till there is about 2-300 meters, but this isi not so important. What it`s important, is when you go to the beach, after 30-50 metri when you are on the beach, there is a place named AQUA, which it is like a beach bar, with very nice sunbeds and umbrelas, at the same price at everywhere else. It is worth it !!! Good luck !!!

Unfriendly and rude
It is beyond me how a property whose main source of income is tourists could act so rude and careless to accommodate them. We reserved our rooms 5 months in advance, paid our booking fee in advance and were extremely quite and civilized (our group includes highly educated, upper middle class professionals such as doctors and lawyers). However, the treatment we received from the hotel management was nowhere near professional.
- We were told off (!!) for making noise at the backyard of this hotel, which is located right at downtown, for only having an afternoon chat.
- we were told to take shower 10 minutes apart (!!!) All 4 families of us! There was literally no hot water from 4 - 9pm when a beach-goer tourist takes shower. So most of the people in our group including small children wandered around without proper shower for a few days.
- ohhh the termites!! The hotel keeps no-use antic wood cabinets in rooms which are infested with termites!! We couldn't sleep all night because of the sound they make eating away the wood.
- cleaning (as can be seen from the pic posted) was another issue. One lady had to do all the cleaning so apparently she couldn't keep up. The fridge in our room had a coke can blast in the freezer part which was not touched once during the 4 nights we stayed there.
- security was nonexistent. Anybody could enter the building through the gate. Considering how skimpy the rooom doors were with a single key to lock, it was miracle noone broke and entered. Oh, and with the nonexistence of room lockers, it felt pretty unsecure to stay in this hotel.
Overall, the price we paid was too high for an inhospitable stay with no hot water and meal options.

Unfortunately,people's treatment is not proportional to the degrees they may have...
Fortunately,the intelligence of those who read reviews or visit our hotel and write something about it,is bigger than you think to understand why you are trying so hard to reduce the hotel you chose.I am really sorry that you have such bad memories from your holiday!

Not well recommended
The Room is very small. The bathrooms window was broken and even though we said to the reception it was not fixed for 3 days during our stay. Also the design of the bathroom sink is very silly when you wash your hands the water comes out on the floor!
Only The location of the hotel is good and also they have parking location (but limited not as much place as the total room numbers)
