Warm hospitality

Very nice small accommodation in Makrinitsa, with good value for money. What stands out is the warm service. Very hospitable people, always willing to help and recommend the best of the area.

Great!

The best one can choose in Pilion! A beautiful old mansion, five-clear, with the best view of the Pagasitikos and Volos! Excellent location in the beautiful square with the huge plataniums. The owners are always laughable, willing and polite, making you cheerful from the morning. I declare excited!

Perfect.

Great choice!!! Clean room and very comfortable. Warm throughout the day. Right in the heart of Makrinitsa with a fantastic view as you have Volos at your feet. The hosts very kind and hospitable people!! It was all great!!

An Inn from a Fairytale

This is the second time that we've had the privilege of staying at Charis Guesthouse. Our first experience was so exceptional that we actually planned a group trip around the beautiful village of Makrinitsa and staying with Charoula, who is the greatest, warmest host anyone could ever hope for. We were traveling with students from my school and she took care of all of us as though we were her own family: feeding us, helping us arrange a daytrip, taking care of our laundry... she is the Greek mother we always wanted.
The guesthouse itself is comfortable, romantic, beautifully renovated and extremely well-suited for a large group like ours to have both privacy as well as areas to congregate, such as the night we all ate on the terrace overviewing the village square. I can't wait to go back.
