Recommendation

Excellent location, near Old town, but peacefull. Beautiful apartment, full of meaning, for D. Bowie's fans. The pretiest sunset. The hosts for every recommendation.

OK location, place is a bit tired and damp smelling.

The location is pretty good and about a ten minute down hill to the old town. The room is a very funky, especially if you are a music fan. Parking is good under the apartment a couple of flight of stairs down. Don't miss the turning as its a 20 minute drive around the one way system.
Everything smelt a bit damp and old. Shower was more a mixer tap so very hot or cold. The facilities are pretty dated, especially the towels, id say older than my teenager. Having to pay in cash was a bit annoying, but not uncommon in Croatia.

Terrible Host

Stayed here in the beginning of September. When we arrived washing machines in both apartments been full with hosts clothes...??? The smell of damp, dirty beds and smelly bathrooms. But the worst is that we forgot our coats in one of apartments. Unfortunately we realised it on our 5th day of trip, and we've been far away (500km) and next day was our last day, leaving from Rijeka. So i called to the host, his answer was he needs to ask the housekeeper. Couple of days later, after calling him again - same answer. After the third call, they found them. Hurray? No, he blocked the phone. OK calling from another one - reply we got - i am busy, and it is too expensive to send it (we told him we will pay for the delivery...). In the end our second telephone blocked... Should we call it the customer service?

Excellent apartment

Host and his family were very welcoming. Short walk to the old town and a local shop. Apartment was very clean when we have arrived. Air conditioning kept us cool. Stunning view from the balcony. Excellent location.

Reconsider this place.

At first we were extremely excited until we saw the place. It looked grubby, run down and not to mention the location.. was way too far with far too many steps especially if you have massive suitcases but we gave it a shot. To begin with we paid with cash and the guy over charged us by 100 kn thinking back to it we should have said something but didn’t bother. Wish I did now. There was no toilet roll, no towels so we had to go back down and ask for the “essentials” they were kind I give them that. It came to about mid afternoon and noticed we could smell something funny coming from the balcony. Not saying that it was what we thought but a strong stench of WEED drifted up to our balcony, now I don’t care what people do in their spare time but for asthmatic people like myself smelling that and not being able to sit outside on the balcony is disgusting wouldn’t be so bad if it was next door with young people but it’s was the fricken host!!! Then it came to us going down for the night I normally check our bed sheets as it’s just a habit but never have I ever had blood stained sheets that have been claimed to have been cleaned. I didn’t moan as I didn’t want to be a nuisance but then I went to find another cover which also had blood stains. By this point I didn’t even want to stay here but at the end of the day It didn’t matter as I was in a beautiful country just ruined by this disgusting place. Oh and patio door not locking, tv don’t work and 1 in 3 bulbs in bathroom work aswell as shower door hanging off by 1 hinge. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH 1500KN. I’d reconsider staying here.
