Diana to the rescue!

We were doubled booked into her neighbour's accomodation by another online reservation site and Diana and her daughter prevented us having to sleep on the streets! Despite her rooms being full, Diana offered us her daughter's room for 2 nights. Thank you so much for looking after us and we both really enjoyed chatting with you. You are a star!

Lovely home with clean, well-presented rooms

We stayed here for three nights before and after a trip to Mljet. We found it the perfect placement away from the busy old town but a short walk or bus trip into town (we walked in a few times and didn't take very long) and conveniently located to the port. The restaurants on the other side of the port were also great - recommend Orka and Peppers!
Diana and her family were an absolute pleasure and we had a great chat to them about what to do and where to go. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the shower is powerful and hot! Not sure what someone else talked about with aircon, they didn't mention anything to us, but it certainly was effective!

A warm welcome awaits

I booked a room here to ensure I had a place to stay at the beginning and end of a two week trip to the Croatian Islands. I expected a mere 'roof', and instead I got a home from home; warm, friendly, clean, amazing view. I am the world's lightest sleeper yet for those two nights, I was undisturbed.
When I go to Dubrovnik next, I will certainly be staying in 'Home Diana' for sure, and hopefully staying for more than two nights. Whilst not in the Old Town, it is a short bus ride, or a safe 25 minute walk away. Ideal for the ferry and bus station.

Great option close to bus station/port

We recently stayed here for one night and wished we were staying longer due to the lovely room and hospitality shown by Diana and her husband. We had the room with the ensuite bathroom, which had an excellent shower (which seems to be a rarity!). The room was very clean and the wifi worked very well. The rooms are very close to the ferry port (<10 min walk), the bus station (10 min walk) and about a 30-40 min walk into the Old Town - but the walk is nice and there are some excellent bakeries along the way! Highly recommended.

Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed in Diana rooms for just one night before leaving Dubrovnik for Sipan and regarded the closeness to the ferry port as a major advantage. There is a little bit of a climb up some steps to find it but please only let that put you off if you are elderly and/or have difficulty in walking. There is also road access if you are being dropped off or have luggage on wheels.
Even though the guest rooms form part of a larger family home, you never feel as though you are intruding rather, you are made to feel very welcome by the lovely Diana and her equally lovely husband.
The room itself was very nice and very clean and we got a very restful night’s sleep here. We opted for the room with the en-suite bathroom and have to mention that this was the best bathroom that we came across whilst staying in Croatia! The shower and the décor etc were all spot-on. Granted, we didn’t stay in any high-end accommodation whilst travelling around but this was still fantastic. Sometimes a decent shower in a hot country makes all the difference!
For the price, Diana rooms is exceptional value and you’ll feel lucky to have experienced the warmth of her family’s hospitality. As we returned to collect our bags, they insisted that I sample some of their food (due to the obvious appreciation of the smell of the cooking on my face!) and, as we couldn’t sit to eat due to time restraints, Diana made me a rather large sandwich to take away. I was unsure as to whether or not to add this little anecdote as I didn’t want to seem biased but the fact is that this is just an example of the hospitable nature of Diana and her family. Thoroughly recommended.
