I’ll start with the good…the hotel was clean and well equipped within the rooms for a stay. The property is located a few metres from a very small strip of pebbled beach.
We feel very misled re the property description. We chose this property as it had ‘on site parking’ available which was very important to us with expensive bikes in our vehicle. On arrival it was obvious there was NO on site parking only parking in the road (not secured). I asked the host where the parking was and he directed me to the roadside parking. Straightaway we were then asked to pay for our stay CASH ONLY which we didn’t have. Only to be advised where the local cash point was. There was NO restaurant, NO coffee shop/cafe or beach bar on site !?! We were not also made aware of any common area for tea/coffee. We’re astounded that these things were listed and it feels nothing other than being misled !!
The front desk was not OPEN at all through our stay, it states it’s open 2-8 pm. When we turned up (hoping to have lunch at the bar) I had to call up the stairs for attention as desk area was chained up.
The general area felt quite lacking and with our disappointment at this place our trip wasn’t what we’d hoped it to be. We looked at Trogir…a much better option if you’re looking around this area.

Great location outside the tourist area but on the water and close to the airport. Boris was a great host. He shared a little of the history and culture of the place, gave us great recommendations, and even called a winery to set up a last minute tasting. Would stay here again.

Everything I needed

Located in a 19th century house built by a Czech doctor,it was a convenient base to visit Split area.Small Supermarkets are minutes away in the village and if you need something bigger,you will find it on the main road,500m north.Beach just across the street if you want to relax after a day of visit.There is free parking space nearby and the owner is is very helpful.The room comes with a fully equipped kitchen ,everything is ultra clean.

Great Out Of The Way Location

We used this location as our home base for the Adriatic. The property is conveniently located between Split and Trogir in one of the smaller Kastela towns. Our apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped with cooking utensils.
The owners were welcoming and very accommodating throughout our stay.
There are no restaurants except for a take out place in Kastel Luksic but the next town, Kastel Stari which is a short walk along the coast, has plenty of good restaurants right on the water.
There is a beach right in front of the property which was very convenient.
