Camping

Absolutely superb Campsite.
The shop on site has all you need and the staff in there were very friendly.
The Ocean is refreshing and clear. Fantastic for snorkeling .
Only downside were the sun loungers at the Swimming pool. About a dozen of them all chained together so guests were unable to use them.

Location great, the rest unfortunately terrible

We were at the site for 2 days on both the outward and return journeys. Both times we were able to get a spot in the 1st row without any problems. Row get a spot. The sanitary facilities are in poor condition. Shower heads are missing, and many doors to showers and toilets cannot be locked. The tiles are very slippery when wet (which is almost always). At the beginning of July, someone cleaned at least in the morning - by the end of July, we could not observe that. The condition of the sanitary facilities deteriorated even further in 3 weeks, e.g., mirrors are now hanging off. The restaurant is a disaster - inedible frozen food. My flatbread could not even be opened, let alone bitten or cut. Well, and there has been no electricity for 2 hours. Info for the campers? None...

There was a party at the beach bar of the campsite.
This is very nice, but not until 3 in the night

Avoid

Stayed here on eurocamp, arrived to see all 5 pools empty , asked the rep what was going on, she said we should have been informed the pools are closed as maintence ran over , we hadn't! The room was swarming with ants again had to report to the rep was told someone would spray the room , we went out came back to a can of fly spray left on the table. Rep was no help to all when trying to get alternatives to having no pool. Beach is rocky if you have kids make sure they have shoes for the beach and sea. Was very quiet. Supermarket not well stocked. No one wants to talk to you if your English and like to ignore you. As you ge higher up the road become stone and rocks not ideal for cars The views are the only good thing about this place.

Nice place but camping not up to expectations at Tohapi/Homair

So catastrophic beginning we rented with Homair , waiting time 2h then we had to call Homair representative to assign us a mobile home.
We booked a 3 bedroom, it gives us a 2 bedroom , Nicolas is very nice, he is looking for a solution, we have a mobile home corresponding to our Reservation but we still have to wait 30 minutes for the cleaning to be done (quickly done , there are ants , not all your nickel) , camping in espalier so not very practical with the heat but nice sea view. Beautiful swimming pool but no deckchairs (result wet towels) , swimming pool that damaged our daughter cut herself walking in the water ... sports field at the top of the campsite no direct access so far from the first mobile homes ... average price / Award ratio
