Great location - reasonably priced

I took the ferry from nearby Orebic & decided to stay on the island of Korcula. This was a last minute booking & I was delighted with the price- £36
The property is right in the middle of the old town - quite easy to find.
The idea is you pick which available room you prefer - if the key is in the lock outside it’s available. There is no reception / staff
I was lucky in that room 3 was the only one available of the 3
It is roomy - clean - 2 windows - kettle supplied. Air conditioning was good.
Great Wi-Fi.comfy bed. It even had a little balcony.
Ok it is a bit noisy at night but that is to be expected due to the location - I just closed the windows
I left my luggage while I looked around the town. Ok some people may feel uneasy doing this as there are no staff around - but I felt quite safe doing so.
All in all I felt I struck lucky finding this great accommodation at a great price

Great location

Host was very responsive and provided parking suggestions.
Location is perfect in Old Town Korcula. Restaurants, sites and shops all right there.
Room was very basic but clean. We had room #2. Shower is very small, bed very hard and towels thin.
Overall not bad for the price we paid.

Lovely apartment with sea views

Lovely stay at Maria’s Place. Be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs! Nicely located apartment and easy to get around when you’re luggage free!

Good location

Booked for one night, received an email with directions also stating that keys would be left out at 2pm. We arrived by boat from Dubrovnik at 0900hrs, left our luggage and explored the old town and visited a beach. We got back at 3pm to find only one key left. Room was clean, well stocked room with fridge, kettle, mugs, towels, shower gel, hand soap and even a tablet for use. Only downside was one of the shower doors in our room (2) was broke and never saw a member of staff to report this to. Fantastic location based in the heart of the old town, plenty to do and a very quiet location.

in the middle of the Old Town

This is a an excellent place to stay right in the middle of the Old Town. Ferries from/to Dubrovnik and Split also arrive and leave nearby.
The house is medieval but the rooms are fully renovated and with air conditioning.
The are many small restaurants on the nearby seaside street. Try the chocolate cake in "Popina" (Setaliste Petra Kanavelica, Ul. Sv Roka,).
