He's trying to wow us with leds everywhere. Once the LEDs are turned off and the normal light on you can see the state of the housing: very dirty place, dust not made on furniture, vacuum never passed under the beds and behind the mobile furniture, rusty and old washing machine that does not open when forced and that did not wash the laundry on the contrary, put black traces on it , rusty spread, bed very poor quality and makes noise when moving, trace on the sheets moldy shower wall, sink inlaid with dirt, the same for the toilet, motion detectors throughout the housing!!! why??? no finish of the interior decoration, exterior in brothel and cluttered, parking space cramps and squeezes us on the other cars to not obstruct the passage. Camera everywhere!!! Exuberant owner, who speaks quickly in English to annoy us, addicted to money, wanting to cram to do business... Flee this very expensive place

I should have checked the reviews
The quirky gentlemen with a sense of humour what i thought at first, turnd out unpleasant. I'm sorry im using a negative word for an elderly hard working gentleman, but I feel gutted that I did not check his reviews earlier.
He advertised one of the bungalows at reduced price on Booking. Com but would not honour it and we never got the change back. It's not much money but it's a principle.
I would not comment any further, because I have no hard feelings other that I feel it ended up us trying to find another place to stay.

FROM COMPLAINT...
Booked on Booking, the advert spoke of an "entire apartment" which was none other than a former tool shed that you see in the photo, so small that the door didn't even close properly, leaving holes for insects
And obviously without a bathroom...
I had to use the external one braving the elements, dirty, uncomfortable and narrow.
I was fooled by the photo of the most beautiful room (and the "complete" caption made me believe that the bathroom was in the room, otherwise it wouldn't be complete) cunningly combined with the price of the cheapest accommodation, which I wouldn't even assign to a newly arrived refugee landed.
And last but not least, upon my request for a receipt, he refused, giving the excuse of being out of office and that he would be back very late.
My fault for not investigating the reviews (just read, all almost as terrifying as mine) and trusting Booking.
The worst 20 euros spent in my life...
I didn't call the police just because I'm a foreigner and I don't trust Croatians...
And obviously without a bathroom...

AVOID AVOID AVOID
After being booked here for 2 nights with a friend of mine, I can not even begin to explain how this is the worst place I've EVER stayed!!!
Easier for everyone is just AVOID at all costs, it's that bad.

Disgusting!!!Do Not stay Here!!!
I am writing this review to warn people before they book to stay at Villa Dalibor. I booked to stay at this apartment for 3 nights in October, 2017. The pictures on booking.com looked really nice and the reviews were fairly good. I booked the apartment thinking I had found the ideal place to stay. Upon my arrival I parked outside and opened the gate into the apartments grounds. Once I opened the gate I soon realised the booking.com photos was nothing like the actual apartment. The swimming pool was disgusting with green mould and green water. This looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months. The steps into the pool was very unsafe and I wouldn’t like to access the pool using them. The outdoor spa had a cover on but the steps leading into the spa was unsafe and there was buckets of green water and mould around this spa. The grounds were disgusting and the plants/grass overgrown. The apartment looked like a building site! This apartment clearly wasn’t well maintained. Although the price was relatively cheap this does not hide the poor state of the apartments grounds. I wish I had paid the extra £20 for 3 nights and stayed in a fantastic apartment which I ended up stayed in a few 100 metres away. In all fairness, I did not view inside the apartment because I was in shock from the disgusting grounds and facilities (please see attached photos). I rang the owner and questioned the condition of the facilities who got very aggressive and threatened to call the police because I had entered through the front gate which wasn’t locked… I asked ‘how else are you meant to access the accommodation to meet the staff’….! He also mentioned that I should not have taken photos and videos as I am not allowed and threatened me and my girlfriend. As you can imagine I did not end up staying at this apartment and advised booking.com ASAP. Please do not stay at this location and don’t be fooled by the ratings on booking.com. I seen previous peoples reviews and photos on Tripadvisor but ignored them, thinking ‘the accommodation surely can’t be that bad or look like the photos’. Please trust me these photos do not do justice of how bad this place was! Do not stay here! If you have any questions please contact me direct. Thanks
