Nice place, great stay

We had an amazing stay (2 nights) in Castello Gulici.
The house isn't located in Poreč, it's in Gulici, a small village close to Poreč but don't worry about that because it's a good thing ! You'll stay in a very beautiful and quiet place, and if you have a car, it won't be a problem to find a parking spot in Poreč (and for free ;-))) You'll just have to drive 6-7minutes and you'll be downtown. My partner and I enjoyed the nice Poreč atmosphere in the evening and we were happy to be back in Gulici when tired !
Our room (n°4) was very nice, spacious (bedroom and bathroom), well decorated, we liked a lot the walls made of stone (it's so authentic), very clean. We could enjoy the outdoor terrace (at the back of the house) in the morning for our breakfasts (prepared thanks to the shared kitchen ;-))
We've been in many guest houses during our 2 weeks of vacations in Croatia, and for sure, without any doubt, Castello Gulici was THE BEST ONE ! Really.
I also have to write : if this place is so nice, it's thanks to Katarina who is a so lovely host. We really appreciated her many advices about our Poreč visit and about Croatia in general. She's kind, always smiling and helpful. Again, we'd like to thank her :-)

I wouldn't come back.

Small room, nice, with the bare minimum. We found inside the bathroom a spider (probably given by the walls with rocks). The girl at the reception on the first evening was very friendly at check-in. When we asked for breakfast, he communicated a sweet and savory breakfast buffet at the price of 15 euros per person. We found a table with little choice, but still the possibility to make coffee with a machine and drink other drinks. When we asked about breakfast, we were NOT specified that breakfast should be paid ONLY in cash. We only found out at check-out, and there was no alternative. We went to withdraw in the nearest ATM, which is not on foot nearby, but about 15 minutes by car. This is a huge disservice to me. It was not specified in the reservation that breakfast should be paid in cash. We would have preferred to be notified immediately as soon as we asked for information about breakfast. Would not recommend and would not stay there again.

Una bella esperienza

La struttura è molto bella …ristrutturata da poco! le stanze sono ampie e pulite alla perfezione!!! Lo standard è sopra alla media rispetto agli hotel in zona ..è vero che non è in centro ma dista pochi minuti. I proprietari sono stati molto gentile e disponibili.

bella struttura decentrata

Arrivando in bici sulla Parenzana, ho prenotato questo hotel perchè sulla strada ma distante 5 km dal centro di Parenzo comunque collegata bene da una ciclabile comodissima.
La steruttura è nuova e comunque ristrutturata bene con begli arredi. Personale gentile che non parla italiano. Mette a disposizione frigo e zona per cambiarsi. Si paga in contanti. Prezzo euro 107 senza colazione magari un po' tanto vista la zona periferica.

Bella struttura. Vicina al centro. Positiva.

Struttura bella, ristrutturata da poco, camere nuove con aria condizionata. È stata un’esperienza positiva che consiglio. Ottima l’accoglienza, molto disponibili nelle necessità. C’è la presenza della cucina in comune.
Anche la colazione è stata ottima.
