Upon check-in, the staff gave us recommendations of places to eat and ways to get around the city. They toured us through the property to show the available amenities and times they were available. They walked us to our room to make sure the room was suitable. The room was excellent and clean. The breakfast was buffet style, but not a regular buffet style hotel breakfast. It provided excellent choices that were handmade each morning. We enjoyed our stay here.

Very clean place. Friendly and smiling staff good the hotel had bicycles so we didn’t have to walk into town. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Maybe the coffee machine could be better. All in all we had a wonderful time.

The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Staff were really helpful and the place was spotless and we felt that staff worked hard to make it unique and give it that personal touch. Little things like homemade cakes and canapés as part of breakfast were wonderful and really made this place stand out. It’s in a great location too- we walked to the beach and into town and made use of the free bike rental service. I would 100% recommend this place.

Super cute hotel with the very best breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Residenz Vaal and can wholeheartedly recommend it. The rooms were super clean, lovingly and stylishly furnished – one felt immediately at home. The entire facility is very well maintained, quietly located, and perfect for relaxing.
We were particularly impressed by the breakfast – honestly, the best we have ever had in a hotel. It was more like a brunch, with an incredible variety and many loving details.
The location is also perfect: close to the beach, quiet, and ideal for enjoying the surroundings. By the pool, you can always find a free lounge chair, which is really pleasant. We also found it particularly great that towels are provided there.
A major plus is that the hotel is completely smoke-free, and this is consistently enforced – it creates a very pleasant atmosphere.
The entire staff was consistently very friendly, attentive, and warm-hearted. You can simply tell that a lot of love for detail goes into the work here. We would definitely love to come back!
