Nice Spot with a Lovely View

We had a room with a shared balcony, which we had to ourselves. The location is perfect. It was very easy to catch the free boat ride to KRKA park. There is a small fortress that you can climb up to, which offers a beautiful view of the town.
The hostess was wonderful; very helpful & friendly. Breakfast was huge & delicious. However, you can hear some noises through the walls from the other rooms. This would not deter me from staying here again.

Great two night stop

We spent 2 nights in the quadruple room. 2 adults and 2 children (5&8). Lovely room it was clean and ok for 2 nights. Shared balcony overlooking the hills. Free parking. Short walk to all the restaurants and bars and to the Krka ticket office. If you are going to visit Krka go early to avoid queuing. We got there are 7.50 after collecting a delicious croissant on the way from a bakers. Monika was really helpful with excellent English. We had a great stay.

Better places for krka, not worth the hassle

I hate to leave negative reviews but in this case.. Check in was a complete unorganized hassle trying to chase down someone to let us up to our 4 person room. We had to make countless phone calls and go from place to place on a wild goose chase to locate the owner. She was apologetic but was unprepared and a 4 person room was not ready/available so we were separated into 2 rooms. Room and beds were fine, modern, tv, fridge. Bathroom was very dated and not really up to standards as well as small. The stairwell was torn up, concrete with pipes sticking out and water pooling as we were told there is a problem. In the morning we were OFFERED breakfast very generously, we did not ask for, nor inquire about breakfast, she apologized for the check in hassle again and asked us "can I please get you some breakfast", which was an egg, juice/coffee and banana, we sat and ate and left only to find out we were charged an additional 28 euro and told breakfast was not included and that "7 euro is cheap" and we should "be lucky it is not more, like 17 euro breakfasts in Amsterdam." Overall between the check in and overcharged breakfast which she would not concede to us I would just stay at a real hotel with front desk and included breakfast, which is across the street.

Beautiful Apartment with equally beautiful surroundings!

We visited Skradin for a christening and were advised this was the closest place for us to stay to the church. We are so glad we did because it is such a beautiful town. We stayed at the Vila Marija which was absolutely lovely. Monica was very friendly and helpful at all times to us. The room was immaculate and was modernly decorated! The bed was extremely comfortable and the room spacious which would comfortably suit 3 people. We stayed for four nights and were very happy. We would most certainly stay again and would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Krka waterfalls as the boat is only a few minutes walk away from the apartment. The pricing is extremely reasonable and make sure you budget for tourist taxes as some booking sites do not mention them, they are very cheap at around a euro each per person, but this will just help Monica out as it may come as a surprise if you are not made aware, this is charged everywhere. It is also advisable to pay either by credit card or Kuna, however they will also take euros. This is because again most booking sites advertise in euros when actually Skradin is predominantly Kuna.

Best place to stay in Skradin

Villa Marija is great family hotel located in the centre of Skradin, with it's own restoran, caffe bar and private parking. Very spacious and clean rooms, excellent and rich breakfast and very friendly and super service owner Monika, who is at your dispossal all the time. If you looking for accomodation to stay in Skradin and visit National park Krka, this is 100% the best one!
