Highly Recommend

We had the most wonderful stay at Luxury Rooms Fortuna. Our room was beautiful, incredibly clean and comfortable and the location was perfect. The staff were so genuinely kind and caring and made us feel completely at home. We are so grateful for the warm hospitality and would happily stay again!

The luxury rooms are more of an Air B&B .

Comfortable enough bed .
Headboard needed a replacement. The fake leather on it peeled off through out the night when you laid against it.
The room was clean and tidy.
Very small and probably should be more specific about being ‘just an en-suite ‘
Very small although the closet space was adequate .
The rooms are on the top float no lift .
It’s in an apartment block by with residents.
The outside of the building exterior is completely covered with graffiti and is very off putting!!

No communication or bedsheets; 3rd Fl walkup; VERY noisy location

Got self check-in instructions on afternoon of arrival. No information provided as to what floor the “luxury rooms” were located on or our particular room number. Attempts to contact property manager were of no avail. After figuring out 3rd floor and hauling our luggage up the stairs (no elevator) we tried the 8-digit code on 3 of 5 possible doors and lucked out when we choose door 2!
Other issues:
- No top sheet, blanket or bedspread, just a bottom sheet. Spoke to answering service for property manager (4pm in afternoon) who said he would contact cleaning service. No sheets or blanket ever arrived. Folks in room next door had same problem.
- Very noisy location starting at sunrise. Delivery trucks and busses, along with construction and motorcycles

Great place to stay VFM, clean, central

Highly recommended great location. Walking in the main entrance hallway is a little lacking but once in the room it exceeded my expectations for the price we paid. Bath is quite high so you may struggle to get your leg over. we would happily rebook this accommodation again.

Great stay - wonderful location and wonderful service

We stayed in two rooms for 2 nights in September 2019. Inna was so helpful from before we arrived - right througout our stay. She could not have done enough for us - including assisting with 3 separate transfers - including one in the middle of the night and assisting us to locate some lost luggage. She went above and beyond in getting one of her drivers to collect it from the airport for us in the nick of time before we left for the ferry to Hvar. Thanks Inna - we are sorry to have been such a pain the backside!
The rooms are loving and well kitted out. Much nicer than most we have seen in Croatia. The apartment building itself is pretty ugly and there are 3 flights of stairs to negotiate but well worth it to have a lovely haven directly opposite the old town.
Split is VERY expensive and overun with cruise shio tourists in the palace during the day. We enjoyed Fig for breakfast and apperitifs. Great service and food. We also loved our meal around the corner from Fortuna at Sug. Really great food, atmosphere and service and MUCH better value than inside the palace. Skippers right at the end of the harbour is great for a view and a drink. We also loved a very long walk following the trails around the headland and up to the rocks were the locals swim.
You can also walk with luggage to the Ferry.
