Tranquil, beautiful and well appointed oasis.

However much I try to articulate this, it will not be enough so times it by 10. Firstly, the host and owner Marija; she is so lovely, helpful, professional and meticulous to detail and your enjoyment of your stay. One of the best, if not the best host I have encountered in my travels around the globe. Ultimately, very trustworthy, and as an older lady, she has nothing to prove, she just is.
The property itself has a number of apartments and Marija and family live there too. It’s very smart, everything is built with the highest quality materials and beautiful design. We’re a family of 5 with three teenage boys and we had our South African friends over for lunch before their departure to the airport. Simply put, the BBQ / braai facilities are the best they’ve ever encountered! Great for fish from the market!
Swimming pool and surrounds are beautiful and relaxing. Everything inside is of exceptional quality and kept spotlessly clean. In the basement is the gym and sauna and ground floor the breakfast room and reception area. On our arrival it felt like a cool oasis from the 36deg heat outside as we walked in from the ramshackle buildings of split to the tranquility and beauty of Villa Znjan. Our apartment was large, spacious and nicely appointed. Having spent a week on a yatch, the beds were an absolute blessing as was the a/c around the whole place. Again, everything has been built to a high standard with natural stone, tasteful decor etc.
Location is a 20 minute, 12-15 euro cab to town and not particularly interesting.
I’d like to keep this our little secret so it doesn’t get too busy before we can go back, though I’m sure they’re not short of clients already. If you want a quiet place of tranquility and luxury then this is the spot. Marija will look after you.
