Great location and nice hosts
I stayed in this lovely place in August (high season in Trogir). Apartment was beautifully decorated and very clean. The terrace was very cosy and had a nice view of the nearby marina and city of Trogir. Location of the accommodation is perfect, very close to the bridge connecting Trogir and Ciovo island (it takes you 5 minutes on foot to reach the old town of Trogir). Ciovo has nice beaches, but I warmly suggest renting a scooter (instead of going by car) to visit the beaches as traffic is heavy this time of the year. Hosts were amazing, very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place if you want to visit Trogir.

Double booked - ruined first day of holiday
When we arrived at midday our room wasn't ready and we were asked to show our booking confirmation which stated sea view with balcony. We were asked to leave a mobile number and they'd text us when the room was ready. We didn't receive a text so went back at 3 which was the check-in time. After much delaying we were shown to a room at the back of the hotel with no sea view! He tried to sell it as an upgrade as it had a 'garden'. I explained that I had a garden at home and didn't want one on holiday and that the only reason I'd booked this place was because of a room with balcony & sea view. By this time it was too late to find alternative accommodation so we stayed one night and spent the evening and following morning trying to find something else. Luckily we found a new apartment called 4 Elements Old Town view which was fantastic and in the end we were grateful for the incompetence of the Villa Angel booking system

Misleading
Quite basic accommodation.
When booking MAKE SURE you are aware what room you are getting. THIS INFORMATION IS NOT READILY AVAILABLE ONLINE.
We a assumed that, judging by all the pictures and reviews, we would have an outside terrace. We were very wrong.
On arrival late afternoon, we were informed that the previous guests had broken the lamp in the room, so it lacked any electricity. But the owner did his best to put this right after a fair wait after our long drive.
The owner was adamant that it did say in our booking that a balcony terrace was not part of our room. IT DID NOT, and we showed him our booking papers to prove this. This terraced area was our primary reason to book. If we had known it was not available we would not have booked. He then proceeded to try and blame booking.com. But where does Booking.com get their information I wonder?
We were given room 4 at the back of the property. This has one bedroom, small lounge and kitchen area ( no microwave) and a shower room. No outside terrace, but our sea view is through the side of the building via sliding windows (which your neighbours can look directly into as they access their room via the stairs !)
NO AIRCON in the bedroom which makes it unbearable to sleep in. Had to then sleep on the pull out bed in the lounge area, which is very uncomfortable with the bed slats becoming loose and falling out, which.... made it even more uncomfortable!
This was fixed the following day we were warned then that if more than one person sleeps on the (double!) pull out bed, the slats could work loose... But better this than no sleep in the furnace of the bedroom. To help, we were given a fan, but it was not much use.
The owner had the opportunity to give us a balcony room for our second night (of a 2 night stay) but, probably because we had already paid him, chose not to do this but rather, accept a new reservation for more profit. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE....WELL DONE!?!?!
But hey, why let one unhappy guest get in the way of earning more money! He knows he'll never see us again, but I hope that future travellers won't leave the spectacular Trogir with a sour taste like I did!

Amazing!
Beautiful place amazing host Sanja
Great location, lovely private garden and own tortoise pet!
I took my two daughters 25 and 19 and we loved it!
The apartment was clean well equipped and Sanja was really kind and helpful.
I highly recommended we will return for sure this is a great country wish we had visited sooner.

A home away from home in Trogir
We love this 4-room family run hotel overlooking the sailing marina and fort of historic Trogir. We stayed twice, before and after a sailing vacation. Our room was large enough for a queen bed and sitting area and had a balcony and kitchenette. (Sink, ref ridge and electric hot water pot is dishes and glasses). Plenty of hot water in small bathroom too. All was new, clean and comfortable. Free wifi. Breakfast is additional and delicious; set your time the day before. Sonya is a fabulous cook and Evan a wonder on the computer to verify flights home. We will be back!
