Wonderful location, perfect hosts

We booked an apartment at this property for a week in September. Our apartment was on the ground floor and we enjoyed being able to sit outside under a canopy of grapes and kiwi fruit looking out on to a lovely garden where lemons and mandarins were ripening.
It is located about 50 minutes walk from Zadar Old Town, but you could catch a bus, or a 'toy'-train, or you could drive there - or you could cycle (see PS below).
Albert and Irena are perfect hosts.
Albert is rightly proud of Zadar and took us on a tour in his car pointing out landmarks, preferred restaurants, and places to park free of charge.
Our hosts were very generous with their time and we were pleased to receive their advice on places to visit.
If you want a swim, you could turn left and find a beach within 150m, or turn right and find another within 250m - and you can make your decision depending on the wind direction.
There are coffee bars, beach bars, other bars and shops within 5 minutes walk.
We recommend this property.
PS Albert can rent you a bike for 5 Euros/day, the best price around

Holiday

Had the most amazing few days in Zadar with the best hosts I've ever come across! The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed with a gorgeous garden to enjoy breakfast and drinks in the evening...Location was perfect, a minutes walk to the sea and 3 minutes in the opposite direction was the marina... Looking forward to returning

Why stay anywhere else?

Just returned from a lovely stay in Zadar at the Simicev Apartments and I can't find one fault! It had all the little touches that you don't get with some self catering apartments and the hosts were wonderful!! Nothing too much trouble! One thing I would add.. Bring a mosquito net if you can because both my boyfriend and I were bitten none stop at night!! Other than that... 10 out of 10!

Just what we needed

We had a great week in apartment D, perfect accommodating hosts who made us feel very relaxed and welcome. Maybe plan your trip a bit later as we thought we'd have guaranteed sunshine but this was not the case.
Would definitely recommend as a place to stay if visiting Zadar. Great restaurant recommendations and tips about getting around, Albert is fantastic!

Peaceful retreat.

Our hosts were wonderful, Albert taking us for a drive around to see the best places to park to go into Zadar town and good places to eat. The apartment was clean and a good size for two people. We even had a little terrace to sit out on although we were out so much that we didn't have time to sit out there much. It is just a short walk to the crystal clear sea and from a variety of restaurants and a small supermarket.
We loved our stay here and the wonderfully warm welcome that we received. If I was returning to Zadar this is where I would stay.
