Almost like home

Very friendly and helpful host. Secluded location (good 10 minutes from the beach by foot). Comfortable apartments. Parking spot available. Delicious breakfast . We liked it so much, we ended up extending our stay here. Ms. Liljana, thank you for your hospitality, we will be back!

Good place for couples

My girlfriend and I really liked this place. The villa is located in a quiet and peaceful place, and again, it is not completely isolated. The quiet place which is close to the town. The second best thing about this place is that is it cheap and affordable. You don't need to pay a lot of money for a good apartment and service. The food and the staff were also great, people very friendly. Got nothing bad to say :)

Lovely stay in a quiet area of Borik and a pleasant walk to the beach

Good location, in a quiet road in the Borik area. Lijljana the hostess is very nice to deal with, both via e-mail and in person. Our one-bedroom apartment (small/medium in size) was on the 2nd floor, it consisted of kitchen/lounge, bathroom with shower (no window) and a comfy double bedroom.
A very nice cot was provided for our daughter. The apartment was clean and tidy. There was a balcony in the lounge and another in the bedroom, with a very handy clothes airer where you can hang your wet bathing suits and towels.
Upon request, you can have breakfast (charge), which is almost like German-style, with some sweet and savoury options and fruit, and was very well presented and overall quite good, although we didn't really like the coffee (this was highlighted to the landlady) but this might not be a problem for everybody.
If you are coming with kids, there’s a room on the ground floor with some toys + in the back of the property there’s a little playground.
Distances:
- the nearest bus stop is about 10 minutes’ walk away (we were then told there was one nearer but we didn’t check that as we only stayed here 2 days) from which buses take you to central Zadar in 20-30 minutes
- the nearest beaches are in Diklo, about 1.2 km, and takes roughly 15-20 minutes to reach, from here you can walk along the very pleasant coast all the way to Marina Borik.
Because of the location, in the evening there wasn’t a lot to do in the surrounding area so to find something you will typically need to walk along the main road that leads to the Marina. Having said that, our stay was during the 1st week of June so it surely gets busier further into June and July & August.
Also, unless you have your own car, this location is not ideal if you want to be close to central Zadar (it wasn’t a problem for us) so you should know this before booking.

Excellent accommodations

This is a well equipped, extremely clean and comfortable apartment in a quiet neighborhood. The owner was so warm and welcoming. She spent about 1/2 hour going over a town map showing us the best route to the old town, pointing out free parking, and an excellent restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was very good and the coffee was delicious. A great bargain and only 10 minutes from old town. It was like staying with old friends. Sorry we were there for just one night.

very nice place

We stayed three nights in April. The place was confortable and nice, the location is good, and the staff was so friendly, there was nothing they wouldn't help you with, recommend nice restorants, give a direction to different place to visit...
Enjoyed our stay very much.
