2 Nights Stay @ Hotel Kingsway

Hotel Kingsway is really amazing. Especially it's very clean and decent. The facilities provided are fine. It also has a terrace restaurant. Location is convenient to visit the Dargah of Khwaja Garib Nawaz. The Dargah is just a few minutes walk away and it's a straight road. Also, Dhai Din ka Jhopra & Lake Anasagar can be visited conveniently.
Staff is good and nice. We checked in at 4:30 AM, well before the standard time. The staff completed the formalities and charged 300 INR as per their rules for early check-in and allotted us the room.
The Room (Room No. 3113) is quite good. Bed, AC, Dressingtable, Cupboard and TV were well maintained. I opted for the Standard Double AC Room. The packaged drinking water was not provided, the staff filled up the water coolers. Packaged water was chargeable. There are some other drawbacks too that I will be writing in ensuing lines.
An interesting thing that I liked is that when I entered the bathroom, the toilet seat was tagged with a label stating "It has been disinfected for your safety" which was quite impressive for a budget hotel. The bathroom was very neat and clean which you can see in the pics that I have posted. Some drawbacks can be noted for Bathroom as well.
3 drawbacks I Would point out: One is the space of room. The room allotted to me was #3113. The room is a bit cross from one side and very clumsy. Space is a great issue. We were two people in that room, being a double room the space was not properly justified. Also, there isn't proper ventilation as the window opens to a big huge wall of the building next to the hotel. This also creates darkness in room.
The second point is the bathing amenities. In the bathroom you are provided only with 2 small sized soap bars of very low quality and only one towel. It's better to carry your bathing amenities with you.
The third point is the Food and it's cost. The food taste is average. Also, the quantity is very less and the rates are quite high as compared to some fine restaurants in that area which provides more quantity, better taste at an appropriate cost.
Overall experience is Very Good. But if the hotel works on the given drawbacks, it can be converted to Excellent..!!

Worst stay. Worst restaurant.

Worst stay. I had the worst experience here. I booked a room at hotel kingsway in advance as it was near to exam center but still they gave me a very dirty room. I asked the manager(night shift) to change my room as I saw a rat inside my room but his attitude was very rude. He lied that there is no other room vacant. Due to high demand there was no room vacant at other hotels too. I asked the manager again if he has any suite room available, he gave me a room which had 2 double beds [ for which he asked me to pay 2000 per night excluding tax] . As I had no choice left, I stayed there. That room was also very dirty and had sewage tank inside the room ( continuously smelling bad), telephone, tv nothing was working. I got food poisoning after eating at their restaurant. Morning shift manager was helpful, he asked the staff boy to buy medicines for me but staff denied. All the rest staff were very careless as if it doesn't matter you live or die. Very unprofessional and non cooperative. I would give this place 0 rating.

Hi friends me Mumbai se ho Hotel Kingsway Ka ek banda hai uska naam hai nithin us banda ne room book karne ke bad advance manga mai advance 2000 deya room sahi nahi thi isliya mai room 30 days pahle cancel kardiya lakin o banda abhi tak mera refund nai kiya mara chekin date 11/5/22 check out date 13/5/22 ek room ka par day ka

Worst stay...

Booked for two nights and travelled with family/children. Forced to use unhygienic blanket, no consideration what so ever towards family. Changed room in the middle.
Wifi speed was good. Never going to stay again even for free.

Nice & Decent Hotel

The location of the hotel is its biggest advantage as it is near to Dargah. It is hardly about 700 meters. Hotel is clean and well maintained. To our surprise food offered was really amazing never had expected such dining experience. The only thing which could have been better is the size of the rooms. It is bit on the smaller side. However, for couple of night it is a decent place to be in with limited budget.
One important advice to first time visitors of this hotel would be to avoid taking your car near the hotel or else you will get stuck badly. Call the receptionist from the main road he will help you out with parking place in Akbar Palace. Parking charges are exorbitantly high there but still its a safe place to keep your car.
