“budget hotel”

This is a very nice place to stay especially for overnight stay. Located in the market of Ambala. Value for money place to stay.Location is excellent, close to Ambala Cant Railway station (~ 12 min.....
Overall Good stay At The Hotel!! :)

Haunted house..

Very old concept. Pathetic ambiance...plzzz plzzz don’t waste your money in this hotel. It’s just like a haunted house...bathroom r not clean...price are very very high compare to their services and room..be aware

Average stay in Ambala Cantt

Ambala Cantt doesn't provide any options for good hotel. The D R International is an average stay in the city.
1. the hotel is close to railway station and easily accessible by rickshaws and autos (located in sadar)
2. the basic amenities are present but not functioning well.
3. there are not many staff to take care of the guests and no room service facilities.

Not so Good

Location of the hotel is easily approachable from bus stand and railway station. The room was okay sorts having lots of scope of improvement by replacement of decade long A.C with a new one. The staff lacked basic manners of knocking at the door and then waiting ; he always tried to open the door after knocking the door.

Nice Budget Hotel

Stayed at this property for a night on our way back from Himachal Trip. Location is excellent, close to Ambala Cant Rail station (~ 12 min by paddle rickshaw). Rooms are big, clean and adequately appointed for a night over. Best thing is the bathroom. The are huge, clean and with sufficient hot water supply. Staff is very helpfull. Overall, a place i would recommend for a short stay at ambala.
Something to remember- I had booked this hotel directly after having a telecon with its owner and deposited entire amount in advance for which i got an e-mail confirmation. After 63 days when i reached the hotel after a looong journey from narkanda at around 8PM, the guys at the reception had no clues whatsoever of my booking. SInce the hotel was empty and i could produce the UTR slips along with e-mail print out, that i was alloted rooms.
Apart from this, i would say that its a good place for a brief layover.
