Kazan family wedding
If you want cleanliness and comfort with luxury, this hotel is not it. I’ve never felt so unwelcome at a boutique hotel. Any minute request felt burdensome despite us being the wedding family holding a few events on the property. The disrespect to our local guests by the manager was palpable - they were requested to list their names for an event of 50 purely for a headcount. Needless to say, we had less than 50 guests but as agreed upon the hotel was paid in full. Professionalism. It’s a thing.
Additionally, they were asking for fees for vendors like photographers for their presence on the property at the time event took place. Again, needless to say, we paid. 5000rs for a photographer to do what the layman comes to this hotel to do - take photos.
Management (Specifically GM Ashu Sharma) should focus on clean sheets and towels, and quality products rather than nitpicking to find a surcharge for 5000 rs when they are getting paid in lacs by a wedding party. A word of advice: respect your guests. We are your livelihood. As a small business owner, I hope the owner makes some leadership changes so this boutique can actually thrive with all the potential it has.
Purely for the unprofessionalism, in the current state I would not recommend anyone to hold events or stay at Kazan.
