A sanctuary

Had a beautiful stay at Ranjit's SVAASA. Every person there attends to your every need with a smile, making you feel thoroughly pampered and at home.
The haveli has been beautifully restored, a sanctuary of greenery. The food is absolutely delicious, and there's a sense of calm that settles over you the moment you arrive.
You're greeted by the mischievously sweet Bika, and Chochi, the most regal resident and the namesake of the Wi-Fi password.
We've been returning to this place for many years now, and it never disappoints.
By the end of every stay, it becomes hard to leave.

Oasis in Amritsar

An oasis in Amritsar! Once the gate of the estate opens, you enter the quiet and peaceful garden leading to the beautiful haveli. The house breaths the tradition and history of a family, of the Punjab region and of India. Most of the confortable rooms are situated around a courtyard. Lounge and dining room are stuffed with beautiful old furniture. Breakfast is very good and for dinner, there is a nice menu card. Staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. A very nice place to stay, a place to visit again.

Luxury in heritage

A little cocoon of history & luxury. The property is a beautiful hidden gem run personally by the owners. From the moment you step in - you are surrounded by photos, medallions, articles which remind you of the rich culture & history of amritsar - mind you each item is beautifully preserved & well maintained. The whole interiors are beautifully crafted & curated, with rich color tones. The beauty of the spaces is equally matched by the warm hospitality of the owners - Mr Abhimanyu & Ms. Rama. The service is excellent and the staff was very courteous through out our stay. Highly recommend for everyone looking for a calm haven away from the chaos of the city. Thank you so much.

Best hotel in India Amritsar

My stay at Ranjit's SVAASA in Amritsar was absolutely amazing. The location is perfect—close enough to all the major attractions, including the Golden Temple, yet tucked away in a peaceful area that feels calm and relaxing.
The hotel offers excellent value for money. From the beautiful heritage-style rooms to the outstanding service, every part of the experience exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
One thing I really appreciated was how quiet the property was. Despite being in the heart of the city, the noise level was very low, making it easy to relax and enjoy a restful night's sleep.
The food was delicious, the rooms were spotless, and the entire property was beautifully maintained. If you're looking for a unique and memorable stay in Amritsar, I highly recommend Ranjit's SVAASA. I would definitely stay here again!

Warm hospitality in a beautiful bungalow that carries colorful stories from the past

We stayed at Ranjit's Svaasa for 3 nights and had the most amazing time. Spacious rooms with character and huge windows overlooking the courtyard. Huge bathrooms. But the best part about staying at Svaasa is the warmth and hospitality. Got to hear stories about Ranjit, the owner of this bungalow from the staff. Excellent, home cooked food. Prabhjot was super helpful and took care of our every need. They booked 2 amazing guides for our tours and made some offbeat visits in Amritsar happen.
