Good hotel

Stayed there for 2 nights. Rooms are fine. Breakfast spread is good. Very good lobby. Well connected to most places in Guwahati. Very near to Brahmaputra river cruise boarding point. Restaurant is a bit pricey. Also they don’t provide air conditioning during power outage which is a negative. Breakfast starts at 7:30 so had to miss it for one day as we have to leave for Kamakhya Temple. Otherwise a decent place to stay.

Value for money

Had an average stay. Location of this hotel is not that great very crowded, wholesale market & noisy area. Room/Toilet were okay & clean. In-house Food was also fine. Complimentary Breakfast (strictly vegetarian) not that great. Suggest to go for higher floor rooms to avoid any disturbance.

Hotel Rituraj Guwahati

This is the most horrible experience I had in recent times. The hotel is located in one of the most shabby place of the town. Every corner of the hotel including the linens, towels, floor and furniture is dirty. No hygiene is maintained in this hotel. The cups, glasses, dishes and cutleries are all stained. The hotel rooms and the dining hall have a musty smell.

Decent hotel near Brahmaputra

The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to various places to see in Guwahati, be it Umananda temple, Kamakhya temple or river cruses. This place is situated to all of the places mentioned above.
The hotel is good with clean rooms and washrooms. The size of the washroom is small and it lacks ventilation .
Rooms are fine and not small. I found a/c working well. Do not expect any good views from the rooms here.
Food is good, cheap and tasty. The complimentary breakfast offered is fine.
Overall, it is good for a short stay.

Could have been better..

We were looking for a budget hotel and a friend who had been to the hotel recommended this hotel. We booked it through OYO and drove up to it.
The hotel parking is a bit crowded but well assisted by the staff. The lobby is classy for a budget hotel which raised our hopes. The checkin was professionaly handled and we were guided to the room.
The rooms are pretty decent at the price with basic amenities provided for. There is only 2 ltrs water provided complementory, next day we had to pay for additional bottles.
The delivered food was just about okay and its better to go outside for decent food at cheaper rates. The complementary breakfast was decent with very good staff.
In all, its a good budget hotel which has potential of being much better.
