Homely stay near IIM Bangalore
Just behind IIM, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore - Stay Home Classic is a well maintained, neat and tidy, class rooms where a homely feeling is created. The locality is also residential area. The courtesy of the staff is amazing. Mr.Arun is always present with a smile for anything like a very good friend. Online as well as direct room bookings are available.

Very clean, comfortable and affordable hotel
I have been staying here for four days now. The property is well-maintained and the hotel has an elevator. Each room is of medium size and has a large bed, pillows, bedsheets, a TV, some storage space for items and hanging clothes, a small desk and chair, a small balcony, a kitchen counter and sink and bathroom with toilet, sink, shower and bucket for washing clothes.
The rooms are clean and tidy. The beds are soft and comfortable - more so than in more expensive hotels I have stayed at. There are thick curtains to cover the windows so no light shines in when you are sleeping, which is another plus. Next, hot water is available at all times, which has not been the case even in more expensive hotels where I have stayed in Bangalore. While the hotel does not offer breakfast included in the price, food can be ordered to the hotel or bought from one of the many shops or stalls in the surrounding area. As an added bonus, purified drinking water is available on each floor. So the place in itself is a really good and comfortable place to stay at a price that is hard to beat. This has easily become my favorite place to stay in Bangalore since the price enables me to stay for longer while still being comfortable.
Next, the manager/owner is a nice guy who is always available to give advice on places to go and sights to see in the surrounding area, or just a friendly chat. As a single female traveller, I also want to mention that the place feels perfectly safe to me. You have to use your key card to come through the main entrance. There is CCTV inside the entire building and three locks on your hotel room doors that you can use if you wish. The fact that each guest has his/her own keycard means that you don't have to worry about the reception being open or not as long as you have checked in. You can come and go as you please around the clock. Shampoo, soap, toothpaste, tissues and glasses are available in each room.
On the downside, there is some noise coming from the street if you get a room facing the front of the property. However, I have found it almost impossible to avoid street noise in Bangalore unless you are willing to pay for the most expensive hotels. But I would recommend asking for a room facing the back of the property if available. Next, there are no kitchen utencils such as a knife, cutting board or kettle available in the rooms, which makes it difficult to make use of the small kitchen. I have asked the manager to make some of these things available to the guests upon request. If there had been a toiletpaper and small refridgerator in each room, I would praise this place as perfect. However, it should be noted that toilet paper is not commonly used in India. Finanlly, the clerk in the reception is a very nice guy, but he does not speak much English. However, the manager speaks English well and is almost always available to help. Both cash and credit cards are accepted here.
All in all, this is a great place to stay in Bangalore: It is clean, comfortable and very affordable. The few drawbacks did not affect my experience negatively at all, but I still wanted to mention them to make it clear that I am disclosing everything.
