Excellent Hospitality and Great Value for Money
The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with all the essential amenities, including complimentary drinking water, an electric kettle, a small electronic safe, a large wardrobe with plenty of hangers, and very comfortable beds with 4–5 pillows. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with toiletries, including soap, a dental kit, and fresh towels.
What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional staff.
Mr. Prakash, the General Manager, deserves special appreciation. Despite his senior position, he is personally present at the reception from morning until late evening, interacting with guests and ensuring that every concern is addressed promptly. His energy, humility, politeness, and dedication to guest satisfaction are truly commendable.
At the reception, Shivangi made a lasting impression with her cheerful personality and exceptional professionalism. She welcomed every guest with a genuine smile, responded promptly to every request, and handled her responsibilities with remarkable confidence and efficiency. Her enthusiasm, positive attitude, politeness, and excellent communication skills created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. She remained calm, courteous, and resourceful even during busy hours, making guests feel valued and well looked after. She is undoubtedly a great asset to Clarks Inn, and her dedication to providing outstanding customer service deserves special appreciation. Hanuman was equally courteous, supportive, and always willing to help.
I would also like to specially appreciate Malama, who works tirelessly to ensure guests are comfortable throughout their stay. She is extremely attentive, hardworking, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Her dedication, sincerity, and willingness to go the extra mile reflect the hotel's strong commitment to excellent customer service. Staff members like her make guests feel genuinely cared for and contribute significantly to a memorable stay.
At the restaurant, Zahid was attentive, efficient, and ensured that guests were well looked after throughout their meals.
The breakfast spread is not very elaborate, but it offers a good selection of both North Indian and South Indian dishes, and the quality is satisfying.
The only limitation we encountered was that, due to an LPG shortage in the region, the hotel's tandoor was not operational, so a few dishes listed on the dinner menu were unavailable. However, the management graciously allowed me to order dinner through Zomato, which I greatly appreciated. This thoughtful and guest-friendly approach reflects the hotel's excellent hospitality.
Considering its budget-friendly tariff, Clarks Inn offers outstanding value for money. Comfortable accommodation, courteous staff, and genuine hospitality made our stay memorable. I would certainly choose to stay here again on my next visit to Hampi.

Nice friendly hotel
The room was compact and had a kettle coffee and tea. The bed was comfortable.
When we arrived my husband was not well and the staff were very good and cooked plain food for him to aid his recovery.
There was a nice selection of food for breakfast and the evening menu was good, we ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the food. As said the restaurant staff and chefs were very good and cooked specific food for us.
The hotel is situated for easy access to the sites at Hampi and directly opposite the museum.
Thank you for a lovely stay. Especially to Hanumantha, Megha, Sneha Samba and Anjali and all also the restaurant staff.
We also had some laundry done which was ready the same day.
