Terrible Experience - Fraud Manager
First of all, my experience at this hotel was terrible. The manager is a fraud and a big liar. It felt like he was under the influence of something (Drunk) and completely out of touch with reality.But his assistant was quite good.
When I checked in, I was asked to pay the full amount of ₹1,230/-, even though I had already paid ₹330/- in advance to OYO and due balance was ₹900/- (Which I had to pay during check-in). At that moment, I paid the entire ₹1,230/- again and went to my room.So I paid (1230+330)= ₹1560/- in total. I don't have major complaints about the room itself, except that the pillows were very dirty and there was a damp, musty smell.
The service was awful. I ordered food through the manager, but he failed to deliver it on time. Finally, at 4:30 PM—after I had been starving all day—he told me to order online because he forgot about my food.
During check-out, he refused to refund my ₹330/- which I paid extra. Instead, he lied and claimed that I had only paid the remaining ₹900/- at check-in. I challenged him in front of the OYO customer executive and asked him to prove it, Because I paid online, as I had already sent my ₹1,560/- (330+1230) payment proof to OYO. He started arguing with me and then completely stopped responding.
However, I am very thankful to the OYO customer executive. They caught the manager's lie, understood the situation, and approved my ₹330 refund. A huge thank you to them!
