horribly terrible
We were a group of 5 couples and had booked accommodation based on the assurance that we would get 3 double rooms for 3 families and 1 suite with two bedrooms and attached bathrooms. However, on arrival, the actual arrangement was very different. We were given only 3 rooms in total — one standard double room and two large rooms with two-bedroom setups but only a single common bathroom in each, offering no privacy at all.
Finally, one couple had to stay in the double room, while the remaining couples managed by separating the rooms into gents and ladies' accommodations. Since we reached Cherrapunji late in the evening, we had no other option but to accept the arrangement available at that time.
What disappointed us further was the uncooperative attitude of the staff, who seemed aware that we had little choice but to take what was offered.
My suggestion to future traveller's: before booking any hotel in Cherrapunji, make sure to get very clear confirmation about the room configuration and facilities directly from the hotel, so you are prepared for any unpleasant surprises.

Very bad hotel.
I stayed here in this hotel for two nights with my family and the rooms , service etc. Is terrible. I haven't seen such type of hotel in my lifetime. The room which was given was like a dormatry. Complimentary breakfast was offered to us, when we asked for omlette and a cup of coffee we were told that it's chargeable. One packet of fruit juice, one boiled egg is kept in the hands of every guest, as if it is offered to the beggars. After paying 7,000/- Rs. Per night, We had to go through all this. At the time of check out I asked for GST paid bill but the lady at the reception (seems to be daughter of the owner) told me that there is no GST and hence no bill (which I shall inform to the GST officials) . The lady was insisting us to pay cash but we paid via UPI.

Hotel Guwahati Address
Stayed for four nights.
Hotel is 15 feet off road and you have to cross 15 ft wide,20 ft deep foul smelling open gutter(Nala). When door opens, inside also smells horrible.
Three items were repeated three times in breakfast with no variety, tasteless menu. Staff never cooperated. Ala carte menu had nothing except mainly pork. Cost was higher than any 5 star place.
Rooms were reasonably ok. The wooden floor tiles were loose and making loud musical noise. I changed room.
Overall stay was a nightmare.

I am staying presently in this.i have booked a room on phone.when i saw the photo of standard room,i requested them to upgrade my room to superior quality booked for 31 may to 2 june.the manager always said there is no vacant room.
Today in front of me some customer came and they said them that room is available.
So i think they are not listening to your request once you have paid the money.even today at the time of check in manager told me that there is no available room.
So i advise you that if you are booking a room ,be sure and check every thing before you pay otherwise you will be forced to stay in your booked room,even if the room is available.services are so so.
Response of front desk manager is very poor.
Hand shower hook is broken in my room and there is no man to repair it.no wifi connection.no coffee pouches available in room with kettle.no exhaust fan in the bathroom.exhaust fan area in bathroom is not covered,so insects are coming through that in night.
Worst experience of booking this property.

Bad experience, photos online don’t do justice
Room was not lighted properly. Mattress on bad and was hard to sleep in at night. Bathroom size was very small. No WiFi , no phone to call the staff , combined with poor room service made this experience unbearable and unforgettable. Breakfast was also quite insufficient and staff was stingy. As a whole, we left feeling that we paid four times more the room’s worth.
