Location Everything you need is in one place. Resort «Silver Sands Beach Resort» is located in Daman. This resort is located in walking distance from the city center.At the resort You can stop by the restaurant. If you travel by car, you can park in a parking zone. The beauty and wellness services: a massage room. Here, you can treat yourself with water procedures as there will be a pool and an outdoor pool. There are playrooms for children at the resort. They will be having so much fun that you might have to spend the evening with adults. At the guests’ disposal, there’s also a laundry, dry cleaning, ironing, press and car rental. The staff of the resort will be happy to talk to you in English.

Worst Hotel Experience – Silver Sands “Resort” is a Complete Letdown
Security Deposit Rip-Off: On top of the high room charges, you’re forced to pay a ₹2000 security deposit per room at check-in, which no decent hotel asks for. And beware—they might deduct money even if you accidentally spoil the floor or stain the bedsheets.
Undertaking of Rules: At check-in, you’re made to sign a long undertaking filled with unnecessary and ridiculous rules. The management even reserves the right to throw you out if you fail to follow them. Instead of hospitality, you’re treated like a recruit entering boot camp.
Terrible Rooms: The rooms are tiny, with an old, noisy window AC that keeps fluctuating in temperature. The so-called queen-size bed is so small it can’t even fit two adults properly. No TV, no coffee maker, no lift—basic amenities are missing.
Pathetic Toilets: The toilet and bathroom are squeezed into such a tiny space that you can’t comfortably bathe or even sit properly. It feels like an afterthought rather than a usable facility.
No Parking Facility: There is no parking inside or outside the premises. Guests are told to park their vehicles on the roadside completely at their own risk, without any security.
Swimming Pool Restrictions: The pool is surrounded by steel boundaries like a cage, and is only open between 10:00 AM and 6:30 PM. After that, it’s locked. To make it worse, entry is allowed only in nylon swimsuits—no other material permitted. Instead of leisure, it feels like a set of strict drills.
Exorbitant Food Prices: The food is overpriced like a five-star hotel, but the place doesn’t even offer the standards of a basic budget stay.

Got scammed into Silver Sands Beach Resort (3⭐, no breakfast) — same location, similar name, higher price. Classic dark pattern.
2/ This bait-and-switch wasn’t obvious until after payment. Tried raising it with Goibibo support — got zero help.

Non-refundable (of course).
5/ Never using Goibibo again. Sharing this so others don’t fall for the same shady trick.
Goibibo Charged me for Silver Waves but booked in Silver Sands. The property seemed to be newly built but lacked basic hospitality features like tea kettle in room, low quality TV with limited connectivity, plastic cups for tea.
Book only for price point around 3K to 3.5k for their best rooms that had partial sea view. Not worth more than that.
