Great experience!!

I chanced upon Greystone while looking for a place to spend a couple of days in Kalimpong. We were 6 people driving down from Kolkata in our own vehicles and Greystone drew my attention because it offered a free parking at its premises. Right from the start of our interaction Probesh (& his wife Yachna, who runs the property) was very positive and offered us two rooms with view (a family room 105 and a Suite room 204) which perfectly suited our need. Being new to the town we faced a little difficulty to locate the property but Abhishek (the main person managing the show at Greystone) met us on the road in his two wheeler and guided us to this hamlet. That day (29 Dec) there was snow in Darjeeling and Kalimpong was wet and we drove all the way from Dooars in this hostile weather.
Our rooms were fabulous and we loved them. Both were neat and clean with all amenities. They also provided us with electric room heaters with additional cost of Rs 300 per day which was worth in the cold weather. There was an issue with the Gyser in one of the rooms but It was attended to immediately.
Food served in Greystone is very tasty and is adequate. We ordered for dinner on both the days we stayed and the breakfast was complimentary.
On 30th Dec as the weather improved we had a barbeque in the hotel lawn which was tastefully organised. It was the most enjoyable part of our stay in Greystone. We really loved the set up and the warmth of the attending staff, Probesh & Yachna from the moment we arrived at Greystone.
Greystone is within walking distance of the main market (15-20 mins) where you can get all your needs.
It’s a lovely property and wonderfully managed by Probesh & Yachna. The staff at Greystone (special mention of Abhishek) would always walk the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Beautiful stay and amazing service

The experience was fantastic. The staff was very friendly, pleasant and accommodating. The view from the balcony is breathtaking, and the internet connection is proper. The owner also owns The Art Cafe, which is a must visit. He gave us great suggestions about Kalimpong and accommodated us for a late check-out. We also were treated to a Nepali Thali on request. Must stay place!
