Chic design, superb Service, and hard to leave
This is a truly exceptional hotel — stylish, thoughtfully designed, and effortlessly cool. The décor is tasteful throughout, with each room beautifully put together.
The staff were outstanding, and we ended up having most of our meals at the hotel simply because it was such a nice place to be. I am vegetarian and the chef made a special menu for me which was very thoughtful. The atmosphere was so relaxing and enjoyable that we found it hard to leave — time by the pool was particularly memorable.
The location is excellent for exploring Old Goa and Panjim.
Highly recommended — easily one of the highlights of our trip.

Superb
We booked this on the day as we were looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful. Amrapala did not disappoint. The house is beautiful and renovated to a high standard with lots of finishing touches and has many different seating areas and a lovely central pool with the rooms set around it. We had the Peace room with a little private garden overlooking the lake and didn’t leave the house for 4 days! The room had such a lovely feel and was exceptionally clean as was the whole house. But, it was the team that work there that made the stay exceptional, they work so hard all day to make sure everyone has everything they need and nothing is too much trouble. The manager is such an asset, he speaks to all guests daily to see if there is anything he can do to make their stay even better and goes out of his way to help with anything at all and makes things happen. The chef is a wizard! He can create anything you want and conjured up many superb vegan dishes for me. The breakfast is wonderful with a vast array of delicious dishes you can choose from, you have to try the home made muesli! We will head back here when we are next in India, thank you team :)

Charming small hotel
Beautiful colonial Portuguese house with charming interiors. Its definitely a place to just chill for a few days away from the busy beach areas.
The food is good and reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and owner friendly. There were good vegan options. You can make tea in the common areas yourself and they supply filtered water in rooms. I do support no plastic waste especially when you witness the amount dumped on the streets but it would be good to be able to refill our bottles with cold water. In a hotel this size that should be easy to do.
Overall if returning to Goa I would stay here again.

A gorgeous Portuguese house from 1919! With beautiful pool.. Very romantic place!
Near to the airport of Goa.
The staff are very helpful & kindness.
Decorated and luxurious rooms.
The place have a great food .
The only complaint is that there is no fridge in the rooms.
Definitely recommend!

The ambience is calming tranquil. A beautiful property.
Food and service are excellent. It is a home outside home.
I like the architecture. It transport you back into the nineteenth century country houses in Goa as we understand.
