Room was spacey and clean . Toilet is clean. Lady Rangeetha was friendly and speak English well.easy communication. Guys at receptionist willing to help you.

Hospitality Missing Where It Matters Most

If Tripadvisor allowed negative stars, this place would easily qualify for -5.
The experience started on a disappointing note and only kept getting worse. I had to wait an unusually long time just to receive the menu, and even basic hospitality like serving drinking water seemed to be an afterthought. The service felt completely disorganized and inattentive.
What surprised me most was how simple things were repeatedly messed up — from slow response to confusion in the food bill at the end.
Thankfully, I had not booked a room here. After this experience, that turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
The food didn’t help either. The grilled chicken was extremely hard and tasteless, which made the overall dining experience even more disappointing.
Overall, the visit felt like a series of avoidable mistakes rather than a professional hospitality experience. I genuinely hope the management takes customer feedback seriously and improves their service standards.
Local Guide Tip:
Hospitality starts with the basics — prompt service, attentive staff, and good food. Unfortunately, this place struggled with all three during my visit.

Excellent hotel and excellent location

This is a beautiful business hotel at the heart of Paltan Bazaar in Guwahati, a little oasis amidst a very busy and vibrant neighbourhood. Clean rooms, excellent service and proximity to Pan Bazaar, Fancy Bazaar, and the Brahmaputra as well as Kamakhya Temple are clearly its USPs. One must also mention the excellent breakfast spread with a wide variety of desserts as well.
From front desk to help boys to restaurant staff, everyone has a pleasing personality and is willing to help. The rooms are not too big, but are comfortable enough. This place is not a resort, so one must have reasonable expectations. No play area, no walking area, no swimming pool. However, it is an excellent choice for people on a North East trip who want to halt at Guwahati for 1-2 days. It is far from the airport, though.
We would definitely want to come back hereon our next North East visit!

Excellent stay

Stayed here for One day... excellent location ... rooms very neat and clean.. we arrived little early and were a big group..still they managed to gives all of us early check in.Food was also good at the restaurant....Our whole family of kids and elders enjoyed the breakfast spread.....before we departed for the railway station which just nearby...Would love to stay here whenever we come to guwahati
