Good memories!

We stayed for a short weekend and threw a cosy party for our local friends. The hotel did everything possible to make the party a success! Whether it was the traditional decor or food or drinks, all was grand! We stayed there in May 2000. I'm sorry to be reviewing so late, but I didn't have access to tripadvisor then.
The room and service was all up to the mark and warm. However, the big thing for us was the success of our party! Thank you, for being such great hosts at such little notice!

The owner or authority should be careful.

Good place, good decorated, high cost but nonsense and stupid staffs( workers) Owner or authority should ensure that how his stuff serve, respect their customers and how is their behaviour and coordination. Please change your staff. And get some human beings.

Well placed, but poor service

The hotel situated in the most important market place i.e. fancy bazar in guwahati. So u can indulge in shopping in any time. Room charges are reasonable. Rooms are big but not well maintained. 1st & 2nd floor is the market, 3rd & 4th floor having staying rooms, 5th floor having a resturant and 6th floor having a bar. So though u dont get a good room service, but u can enjoy in cheap bar in the 6th floor or get food from resturant. Food charges are quite high. If u require privacy and good service its a complete no, no... not good for staying with family. if electricity gone then u have to climb up till 4th floor between the market to reach to your room. but if u want to stay and indulge in shooping, enjoying at bar with poor room service u can stay at reasonable room rates

Nice hotel with warm people serving a true value for money

It's a nice hotel serving delicious food and the people in the hotel make you feel comfortable. The warmth extended by the people make you feel at home.great food and a true value for money hotel. If one is looking for a nice place to stay which is not very heavy on the pocket then this is the right place.

it is comfortable

I have booked this hotel in March, 2011. The hospitality, which they provided for us is admirable. If any one come to this North East Region please reserve your room in this hotel. It is very much reasonable and economical. Over all performance of the hotel is very good.
