Even hot summer sun gives you cool breeze under thick shade mango trees .
Do star gazing in night open and clear skies which are not visible in big cities
Out room is no a but added feature 2 bathrooms which made very useful in getting ready in early morning safari .

Excellent food, great staff, always helpful and quick decision makers.
The staff was well trained, they were locals, and their boss gave them a free hand to take decisions. Which made the service efficient and friendly. Good for the guests.

"A Retreat Amidst the Roar of the Jungle"
The property is designed to echo the rustic charm of the forest, yet it doesn’t compromise on modern comforts.
Spacious cottages surrounded by greenery gave us the sense of being tucked away in nature, while still enjoying cozy beds and well-kept amenities.
The quiet evenings, punctuated only by bird calls and distant rustles, created a magical backdrop for family conversations.
Meals were hearty, homely, and surprisingly diverse—local Gujarati flavors paired with familiar continental touches kept everyone happy.
The lodge staff coordinated everything smoothly, ensuring our family felt safe and well-guided.
Between safaris, we enjoyed nature walks and relaxed by the pool, which was a welcome respite for the kids.
The staff’s attentiveness stood out—they were patient with children, quick to respond to requests, and genuinely eager to make our stay memorable.
Overall Impression-Gir Jungle Lodge is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience that balances wilderness with comfort. For our family, those three days were a blend of adventure, bonding, and quiet reflection. It’s the kind of lodge where you leave with stories to tell and a longing to return.

Nice stay option at Gir
The package included dinner and breakfast. On pre-order they also arange for chicken but the usual meal served is vegetarian, which includes Gujrati as well as Punjabi items.
On request the manager provided us a 1st floor room with balcony (ground floor rooms don't have balconies). Room was spacious but even though the room was clean there is a lack of maintenance. Especially the furnitures and fixtures.
The resort has ample parking area and driver accommodation. Food for driver is not included and charged at rs. 1000 for three meals.
The resort is just two kms from Sinh Sadan on the Junagadh highway.
Overall nice experience.
