Definitely recommend a stay here when you visit Srinagar :)

The owner himself is a very kind person and took it upon himself to make sure everything was top notch. No one had expected the sudden heat surge at this time, but they still equipped the rooms with coolers on short notice. Over all it was a wonderful experience staying here. Definitely recommend a stay here when you visit Srinagar :)

Disappointed by the behavior of shreen boat owner Umer

Very old boat, Very rude ad arrogant behavior of owner Umer, he will loot your money. He is greedy for money and looting tourist
So do not stay in this boat for your own safety and choose other good boats where you get worth for your money and good hospitality.

Great hospitality for those who want to experience a houseboat stay

It was a great experience staying at Heritage Shreen. They contacted me right after I placed a booking on booking.com to confirm our dates and also offers an airport transfer at a fee.
Upon reaching we were greeted with hot tea and was shown around. They offered many services including sunset shikara rides, tour guides with cars and also shikara ride for the morning market, all at affordable prices. We didn't take any because we already hired a tour guide for the entire trip.
There is also homecooked dinner provided by the family (chicken or mutton curry, dal, fresh vegetables, capati and rice). Dinner is chargeable but is cheap. Breakfast is also provided and free (omelette with toast, hot tea).
The stay is quite comfortable. There is hot water for shower and ample electricity. The place is clean and we were always greeted with smiles, especially by one of the sons Younis. He is always around helping us during our stay. Going in and out of the houseboat is convenient because they have their own shikaras and will fetch us whenever we are heading back.
I'll definitely recommend Heritage Shreen for those looking for a houseboat stay at Dal Lake.

The host is a very polite and charming man who would take effort to spend time with you..

It is truly a heritage houseboat in Dal lake which is very peaceful as compared to dal lake. The boat is extremely clean and adorns all sorts of vintage decorative.I was absolutely smitten by the lotuses I could see from my bedroom window. The vegetarian food was good and my friends were enjoying the non vegetarian meal as well. The host is a very polite and charming man who would take effort to spend time with you and provide suggestion for any queries.
