Wonderful experience
Hotel has beautiful location as from room one can see wide lake facing view. It is really mesmerizing. Food is delicious n inexpensive.
Rooms are spacious n modern.
But best thing is hospitality of this hotel. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Rahul front desk. A very hard working guy with good professional know how. We were also lucky to meet Mr Sinson T.J. corporate general manager who warmly n proudly showed us the property. He showed us the initiatives he has taken to modernize hotel & lake side restaurant. I feel JVK group is really lucky to have such an experienced person like him.
We wish to visit soon to experience mesmerizing views from hotel & warmth of staff

Dimly lit reception, sticky floors with broken showers and plasctic cups for Coffee/Tea at Breakfast.
JVK hotel in Kochi, claims tobe a 4 * hotel, this is far from the truth. Dimly lit reception with sticky floors, was not a good impression of this so called 4 * establishment. I am seasoned traveller and this is the first hotel during my travels I have seen where plastic cups are provided for Breakfast. Very basic breakfast with no provision for Cereals or Porridge. Small chunks of Water Melon and Pineaple were served. An antiquated 4 slice toaster of which two were not working. Finger sized bread was a joke. Dim and dark rooms with broken showers and no satfety bars with non existance of Soap dish.
The stay at this place has left a very bad taste to visit this establishment again.....never.

There’s Better in Kochi
The place is not a 4 star hotel, probably better and real 4 star options out there. The view from the hotel is nice but the area has nothing for you to visit. The food at the hotel was ok, service was ok. They have TV but the channels are a few and in Malayalam so better know the local language I guess. Wouldn’t go back, and would have never chose the place so for the people using book my trip please do your research and check the hotels they recommend.

- Does not have an easy access to the road. It is located through a winding road which is not walkable as the road is not finished.
- Unhealthy and safety problems in the bathrooms. Black Mold is predominant on the walls of Bathroom of JVK Park Hotel rooms and probably on the underside of the beds. If any past customers or future customers who end-up having respiratory issues as a result of their stay in the JVK Park Hotel, Kochi, the guests should be able to sue the JVK Park hotel, Kochi, for the presence of black mold in the rooms. Future customers/guests should take photographs of the affected rooms for the presence of black mold which could be useful during the legal action against JVK Park Hotel, Kochi, and 'Rahul' chartarum.
- I booked this JVK park hotel room through Makemytrip.com and Makemytrip made a mistake in booking only 2 people for 2 rooms. When we went to check-in the bulky manager by the name 'Rahul' chartarum (last name is unknown and hence gave Rahul the last name as chartarum [Stachybotrys chartarum (black mold)] and the Receptionist declined the check-in despite offering to address the MakeMyTrip.com mistake. Although, makemytrip never resolved and we ended up paying more. Make mytrip customer service sucks so beaware before booking through this website.
- The Reception staff at JVK park hotel were very rude and were trying to teach math to extract more money for Makemytrip website's mistake in booking! How dumb is that! Rahul chartarum is responsible for overseeing the property and safety of hotel guests who stay in these rooms, and while requesting resolution of differences, he vanishes! The so called 'Rahul' should be fired if JVK hotel, Kochi, needs to survive. The guy 'Rahul' is rude, extortionist and does not behave appropriately with the foreign guests. In this process, Rahul forgets that instant pleasure may satiate his low esteem, but in the long term he looses customers which is not good for the Hotel. JVK Park management should hear loud and clear that 'Rahul' chartarum should be FIRED for his incompetence and behavior.
- Basic amenities in JVK park hotel, Kochi, such as a soap dish in each bathrooms, and refrigerators in each guest rooms are not provided for healthy experience of Kerela. JVK park hotel is not a 4 star (*) hotel as it does not have essential amenities that qualify for a 4 star hotel. The front desk staff "Shoheb Rehman" acknowledged on March 2, 2025, that none of their guest bathrooms have a place to put soap when taking shower. This means, you do not know where to place your soap when taking shower as there is no soap dish to put your soap! This is crazy! After complaint at the Reception, they added a small refrigerator to our rooms. At the most, the JVK Park Hotel, Kochi is a 1 or 2 star hotel but this hotel falsely markets itself as 4 star hotel which is misleading and false. So customers/guests, beware of your stay!
- This hotel is not for the elites or NRIs or foreigners as this JVC Park Hotel, Kochi, does not have the basic understanding of custormer service value nor they have an understanding of catering to the special group of people who want to enjoy Kerala. This hotel may be good for local Keralites as they are used to being served ordinarly.
This hotel does not deserve to be rated as 4 star as it does not qualify. NRIs, Foreigners or elites must not stay at this hotel as this hotel is not suitable for experiencing Kochi, India, for the Indian food, customer service or quality. This JVC Park Hotel, Kochi, is meant for ordinary Keralites who are okay accepting whatever is offered to them without any standards.

Nice for a short stay
We stayed for one night. The room was good with all basic facilities. Location and views are good too. Veg food in the restaurant was pretty bad - one area of improvement. The biryani we ordered was so bad it would make a north indian cry. But overall a decent hotel to stay in.
