Relaxing stay

Stayed for 3 days in Jan-26. Hotel has 7-8 rooms, but the best rooms (only 2) are the “Deluxe Double Room with Sea View” on the 1st floor. There is a big balcony on the 1st floor which is a common sitting area for multiple rooms from where the sea view is great. We can observe the fishing boats passing throughout the day. One also has to bear with a small dry garbage dump outside the premises which is tolerable. Environment is calm & quiet with hardly any crowd.
While the sea is right across the road in front of the hotel, there is no sandy beach but stones. We, of course, sat there & watch sunset. Sandy Cherai beach is about 1.5 km away. There is no garden around, but we strolled through small lanes behind the hotel to reach backwaters in 10 minutes – good view here too.
On the 2nd floor, they have a restaurant and a kitchen, but it is not operational. Only breakfast is provided if booked in advance, even 1 day before. We ordered our meals (including breakfast) from Lilliput Multi Cuisine restaurant (1.6 km), which is near Cherai Beach. We dined at different local restaurants, about 400 meters away from the hotel. We visited Cherai Town (5-6 Km) for small shopping and had good south Indian food at Vrindavan (Veg) Restaurant.
The rooms are a bit small but clean and comfortable. A little more maintenance could have made matters great. Wi-Fi, tea/coffee maker provided. The staff, especially Alwin, the so-called manager, are friendly and helpful, which ensured a pleasant stay. He arranged Auto-rickshaw for local movements. Hotel does not arrange for scooters and cycles to rent to guests.
It is a good place for a relaxing stay!

Decent and nice place near the beach

Good place. Support staffs are very friendly. TV was not working when we reached and we noticed reception to fix. they fixed immediately. Very close to the beach. Internet speed could be improved bit faster. Good stay and warm support staffs.

Think twice before you check in .

Worst experience among all the places I stayed during my Kerala trip . We had two night stay . No one turned up to clean the room . Food was limited and average. We kept on requesting them to clean the room in our presence or absence but they ignored every time .

If you want sea breeze and peaceful quiet times, then it is one of the best places.

Excellent external decor. Bedroom rooms sizes average. Bathrooms had noticeable plumbing problems!! Skeletal staff but very friendly and helpful. Food freshly made but just average. Very quiet resort.

Cute , cosy small place

Sapphire is just opposite Cherai Beach. Its small budget setup.
The restaurant on top floor overlooks the sea .
The rooms are decent . Service is very good . Food is excellent .
Big thanks to Mr. Akhil for all services.
