Perfect stay in Leh!

My room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. They helped my organizing my holidays. I spent some time in the lovely garden for relaxing and reading. Very good was also the food in the restaurant. The old market and everything you need is in walking distance.

Received threats after posting negative review because of noise at the hotel

After posting a 2 star review on google where I mainly criticized the noise at the hotel the hotel staff immediately contaced me asking me to remove the review while using language that can be perceived as threatening and insulting. This is unacceptable. There are many other hotels further up or down the road which most likely have better offers.
My original review from google:
"I paid 800 INR per night. The garden is beautiful and the staff is helpful in tending to any requests. However I woke up early almost every day because staff members were talking or watching videos at the reception or in front of the window. Even telling them several times didn't stop them from doing it again. The design of the hotel is such that it is very noisy. Even though the area of the hotel itself is rather quiet. In the evenings up to 11pm or later people were talking very loud at the reception which is audible in the rooms.
In addition some of the mattresses are hard as stone. I shifted room a couple of times. And the drapes don't keep out the sun in the morning.
Safety:
No safe in the rooms. Windows can be locked only partially - only one of the small bars actually closes.
But there is always staff at the hotel."

Worth the price

The Kurja Garden Hotel stay review.
The host Majeed is very polite. Location is centralised and very economical.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking out for a budget friendly property.
Food can be ordered and it's very cheap too
