Hospitality is the key

Undoubtedly hospitality was at its best. Awesome staff n authentic malvani cook done a great job. But at the time of booking we were not aware that we are going to stay in a three story building which was next to the cottages. The building photo was not available on the website or didn't have any description about it. If I know this pretty earlier i would have booked my stay somewhere else. So please confirm first exactly where are you going to stay for sure. Personally I would not prefer to stay in a building when m on vacation with family especially near beach.

Good property, just a minute walk to Tarkarli beach

The property is good considering the availability at Tarkarli. The Tarkarli beach is just a minutes walk. The food is homely made mainly with thali system which becomes a problem some times as you have no other option available. Also, they work with very less inventory so you need to order in advance if you want to eat at the hotel. Owner Rakesh is very helpful, he helps you in finalising your activities, whether it is water sports or sight seeing. You can do scuba but the water is not very clear, you hardly get to see anything other than the few fishes and little coral. The equipment used is ok and the guides are good and they make you comfortable. Must do Bhogway beach, its too clean and almost empty ...

Excellent home styled food! very close to the beach!

This is a very simple small boutique-type budget hotel. You should expect great service (not because of bad service, but the staff here is not trained). They are all very nice and simple people, but are not trained. But it is not much of a concern when you want to enjoy good food and a relaxed atmosphere.
We were here for 3 nights with my kids (two boys) and my in-laws. We had no issues booking as my wife manage to contact the manager/ owner on whats app and reserve the place.
The best place about this place is its simplicity. If you are looking for a luxurious place, this place is not for you. But if you want to enjoy the simple things in life, this is the place. The food in Malvan anyways is good, but in this hotel the food was to die for. It was absolutely amazing!! I loved the fish thali.
In terms of location, this hotel is nicely located, just 2 minutes walking distance from a very clean and nice beach. There you can take your kids for a horse cart ride, camel ride etc. It is what Mumbai would have been in the 70s and 80s (Juhu beach)- clean and not crowded.
The only issue was with the hot water. We had to ask them to switch on the heater whenever we wanted hot water for bath. The cold water tap released hot water and hot water tap released cold water! but these were small issues as the people were nice and simple (as most other people in Malvan!)
Also the did not have wifi. But it was a good thing as the kids were away from the phone and I could not check my emails. I loved it. I would recommend that they do not have wifi in the future as well!!

EXCELLENT Service & feel Like a Home Stay

Best service in Hotel.. owner Mr. Rakesh ji is So co-operative and Frank. Staff is Good. Hotel is near Beach it takes just 5 mins. By walk to reach the Beach . Rakesh ji helped to find the best Deals for Water sports and Scuba Dive. Best thing I like that the taste of Veg. Food they Serve. So veggies no need to worry about veg Food in Tarkarli. Just stay here and feel The Home Stay.
