Wonderful holiday with Mariners Bay Resort in delightful India!

Having read the previous negative reviews, it even became a shame that people had a false impression of such a wonderful hotel. So, although late, I want to add my positive memories to this day of visiting this wonderful country and the hospitality of this hotel in particular. Holidayed with a family of 4 on New Year's holidays 2020. When checking in, at the reception we were greeted with friendly smiles and mango juice, which you will agree after a long drive is very nice! Immediately led to a two-room huge room with two balconies on different sides on the second floor of the main building (302). First of all, after the prolonged torrential rains, the walls of the building showed dry areas, but this did not affect the condition of the room inside, but tourists who were moved into wooden two-storey houses complained about the dampness inside the rooms. Everything worked in the room: both air conditioning and refrigerator and safe and water in the shower was ALWAYS HOT, which for India is no small indicator, the plumbing (toilet installation) worked properly. The room was cleaned daily with replenishment of drinking water (if not supplied, the reception was always provided upon request), toiletries and replacement of towels. In the bedroom a large double bed with a soft new mattress and in the second room a large sofa was filled with clean linen. In the mornings there were big monkeys and cubs running through the trees and roof in front of our balcony, the first time they were seen they thought they would carry things left to dry, but nothing like that happened, only the delight of our children watching them every day. The restaurant always had delicious breakfasts, I want to say a special thanks for the sweet juicy fruit salads and juices. Couple of dinners were ordered (once they bought fish themselves at the market and asked to cook) for an additional fee, because the trip included only breakfasts, and almost disappointed, everything was super delicious! It was nice to have breakfast outdoors and admire the green field where the cows and herons walked. The pool was always clean, but almost no one swam in it, because the water in it is cool, and it seems people come to the sea, we used it mostly after excursions, if it was not already possible to swim in the sea. It is true that the hotel is far from built-up areas and the sea, but we originally knew that we would rent a bike to get more familiar with the flavor of this amazing country. On the first day we walked to the sea for 30 minutes, but then all the problems were solved. We rode a bike all along the coast, parked it for free on the hotel site and left the hotel on the track in either direction, which is very convenient. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was filmed, photo very few(. Our family loved this wonderful country, with its very kind and friendly population. I would like to thank the staff of this hotel for their hospitality and attention to their guests, thanks to you and your hard work, our family has only positive memories of Mariners Bay Resort!
P.S. I want to add that during our stay at the hotel, none of the staff ever rudely begged us for a penny of money!

Wisteria cafe is amazing

Amazing service and ambience.
Sejal was our hostess and she took very good care of us. The food was brilliant. They allowed our pet too, not sure if that is standard practise but they were very accommodating.
The ambience is quite chic and laid back.
PS: Shoutout to Rahul for being an amazing server!

Goa tour

Choose rooms without pool side view, that will give you a better natural view. Prefer to have room on the first floor. Nice service experience is very good. Nice hospitality
Xcellent staff good food will recommend to book the rooms directly with the resort as they offer good deals with food standard rooms are quiet spacious over all great experience ...the pool is closed due to current situation rest I would rate it as 10 for the stay 8 for the food 10 for the staff

Relaxful and enjoying well with family

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the green area and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. As soon as you come out of the resort, we just need to cross the road and there is a direct path leading to the beach. It felt like a private beach, very clean and clear water, a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing. I must say the location of the resort is at best place of North Goa. If someone wants to visit the temple then they could directly walk down along the beachside path and reach the temple within 15 minutes.
Our stay at the resort was just for two days three nights.Luckily we met Director captain kamal bhatnagat Mariners Bay Resort. He briefed us about few places.He made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. He accompanied us to the beach and we had a great time together. All respect for him who does a great job here. Excellent hospitality
